One day trip at Cheung Chau Island

Cheung Chau is one of the outlying island in Hong Kong that only accessible by ferry. To go there, you will need to go to Central Pier (if you go by MTR, take exit A Central and follow the signs on the footbridge). You need to go to ferry pier no 5 and take ferry to go to the island. It can take 30-45 minutes depend on what ferry you are using. There are lots of things you can do on the island: 1. exploring the neighborhood if this is your first time there 2. eat local food like mango mochi, Cheung Chau sweet bun, frozen fruit, and jumbo fish balls 3. rent a bike and go around 4. hiking (I never do hiking but many people do it there) 5. eat seafood 6. spend time on the beaches on the island Make sure you plan ahead and come early in the morning so you can do lots of stuff there #hkinsider #island #trip #local
