Japanese Cuisine Kakoryu-Kuii Sushi Omakase

A new Japanese restaurant, Kamei Sushi, has just opened in World Trade Centre in Causeway Bay 🍣😋. Originating from the Meiji period, it has a history of 136 years 🫶🏻 and this is their second overseas branch in Hong Kong. The interior is elegantly decorated and very comfortable. In addition to à la carte dishes, they also offer an affordable Omakase set 💗 for $888 per person, which includes 12 pieces of sushi, appetizers, chawanmushi, rolls, miso soup, and dessert. 🔶Appetizers There are three options, including juicy Japanese tomatoes, flavorful grilled mackerel, and delicious firefly squid 🦑. 🔶Sushi There are 12 pieces of sushi, including red snapper, scallops, oilfish, deep-sea pond fish, sea urchin, giant clam, horsehair crab, seared red sea bream, and more. Each piece of fish is fresh and delicious 😋. The scallops are sweet and tender, the seared red sea bream is rich and fragrant, the sea urchin is creamy and flavorful, and the giant clam melts in your mouth with a rich oiliness. 🔶Hand Rolls The hand roll of the day was made with scallion and minced tuna belly. The tuna belly was plentiful and had a smooth and delicate texture, very tasty. 🔶Others The chawanmushi is silky smooth with lots of crab meat on top, and has a rich egg and seafood flavor 💗.
