| Stay in one of the top five Japanese gardens in Japan. Miyajima in Hiroshima Prefecture has always been considered a spiritual island where gods reside. The 'Ishitei' on the opposite side of Miyajima is a hot spring garden inn. Having been to Japan dozens of times and stayed in N hot spring inns and luxury hotels, it's hard to find a hot spring inn that still impresses me, but Ishitei is such an inn that I want to stay in every season. The last time I was so amazed was when I stayed at 'Kagaya' on the Noto Peninsula in 2017. Ishitei is built on a gentle slope, facing the Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima, and backed by the rocky Kyoto Mountain. It is a real mountain and sea garden hot spring inn. Experts from all over the world have ranked the garden of Ishitei 5th among the Japanese gardens selected from about 1,000 candidates including inns and villas. Each room has a different layout, and the 12 rooms are connected by a corridor, and the window view of the garden and the sea is unique. The unique Japanese minimalist atmosphere created by natural building materials such as wood, bamboo, and stone flows in every corner of the garden at Ishitei. Every grass, tree, stone, and water complement each other, and the scenery changes with every step. At Ishitei, no matter which room you are in, you can easily step into the garden and stroll leisurely. Walking in the garden full of craftsmanship is a pleasure that can only be experienced by staying at Ishitei.
