If the driver doesn’t contact you, you can find the duty phone number at the waiting hall window and contact the staff. 🛏️ Accommodation Options Litang is about 4000 meters above sea level. I chose a hostel near the bus station with high platform ratings, and the hostel provides free bottled oxygen. 🛵 Litang County has shared electric scooters; I tried one but it was a faulty vehicle. 🏞️ Attractions ❶ Changchun Ke’er Monastery, 🎫🆓, please visit respectfully inside the temple. ❷ Back mountain of Changchun Ke’er Monastery, 🎫🆓. Exit from the east gate of the temple, walk along the cement road uphill, climb wooden stairs to reach the mountaintop plaza. Then walk clockwise along the ring road, passing 3 viewing platforms. You can see the distant snow mountains framed with Litang. ✅ Tips: If a Tibetan greets you with “Tashi Delek,” politely respond with “Tashi Delek.” It’s a blessing meaning “good luck and happiness.” ❸ Letong Ancient Town • Thousand-Household Tibetan Village, 🎫🆓. The largest and most concentrated Tibetan settlement cluster in the Tibetan area. It preserves traditional Tibetan architectural styles like stone slab roads and wooden doors and windows. Great for photography. ✅🚘 Litang → Zeba Village can be reached by shared yellow car, 💰100 RMB, 3 hours. Usually departs around 2:00 PM, boarding point: opposite the Holiday Inn Express on National Highway 318 in Litang County. Zeba Village is part of the southern route of Genie Mountain, perfectly blending snow mountains, meadows, lakes, and temples—the essence of Western Sichuan Tibetan scenery. Must-visit spots: Xinleng Ancient Temple, Eye of Genie, Genie Sacred Mountain 🏔️ with golden sunlight.
