Dali, Yunnan: Erhai Lake view room where you can spend the whole day.

Dali's mornings and sunsets are romantic. If you want to be closer to Erhai Lake and enjoy the sunrise and sunset without leaving your room, I recommend staying in a lake view room. It's so healing to watch the lake from your bed! - It's the off-season, so accommodation is very affordable, and it's quiet everywhere. Here are my thoughts on my stay: 1️⃣ The hotel room is spacious and bright, with a balcony overlooking Erhai Lake. The bed faces the lake (especially in the morning when you open the curtains, it's super healing!). 2️⃣ The room is well-equipped, and the hairdryer is quiet (perfect for people like me with fragile hair). The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the room is equipped with smart home devices. The bathtub is especially atmospheric and relaxing. 3️⃣ The owner is attentive and thoughtful. The mushroom soup pot we had when we arrived was recommended by the owner and tasted good. Breakfast is delivered to the room at a set time. My favorite is the millet porridge, which is very fragrant. A delicious breakfast makes the whole morning feel full of happiness. ☺️ 4️⃣ The hotel is easy to find, with convenient transportation. It's close to attractions and food. I recommend visiting the newly developed Xiahewan Wetland for photos (it's close to the lake). - Some suggestions: 1️⃣ Set an alarm to watch the sunrise at around 7:40 am. You'll see the mountains across the lake go from dark to light, glowing with golden light. It's very healing. 2️⃣ If you like taking photos, be sure to visit the rooftop terrace! It's a great place for photos (especially in the morning when the sun is warm, and the sky is blue. You don't need filters. There are swings, picture frames, tables and chairs, spiral staircases, and other ready-made photo props). 3️⃣ If you have time to play slowly, you can wait for the sunset. Haidong is great for watching the sunset! You can estimate the time for photos. I recommend wearing a light-colored dress for great photos (but don't forget to bring a jacket, as it's very windy in Dali.
