Entered "Game of Thrones" 🇪🇸 Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral

🇪🇸Cordoba, standing alongside Granada and Seville, is one of the three shining pearls and world-renowned tourist destinations in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. 🎈Cordoba's reputation has spread far and wide, largely due to the preservation of the Great Mosque, a world cultural heritage site. 📣 The Great Mosque was first built in 786 and, through continuous expansion under Moorish rulers, became the most famous of over 300 mosques in Cordoba. 🚩 After 1236, it took 260 years of construction to transform it into a cathedral. The Moorish style of Arabia and the Gothic and Renaissance styles of Spain blend together, creating the architectural masterpiece of Cordoba. 💎 The Great Mosque of Cordoba, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, covers an area of over 23,000 square meters with a building area of over 4,000 square meters. It is magnificent and grand. 💗In the early 16th century renovation project, one-third of the stone pillars and arches in the main hall were demolished, and the height of the arches was raised. A Renaissance-style cathedral was built in the center of the mosque (Figure 3 shows the panoramic view of the Grand Mosque, and the dark green spire is the arch of the cathedral). 👣 Strolling among them, towering domes, intricate ceilings, colorful murals, elegant platforms and chairs, sturdy staffs and swords, delicate sculptures... magnificent and luxurious, as if entering the world of the American drama "Game of Thrones" .
