Jeongbuk-dong Earthen Fortress

#koreatrip Jeongbuk-dong Earthen Fortress is the only earthen fortress in Korea that maintains its original shape and is a square-shaped castle with a circumference of about 650 meters. Gate sites remain in the north, south, east, and west, and the south and north gates were built with the walls in a misaligned manner. This is an early form of Ongseong that prevented enemies from entering the fortress directly.
