"I initially overlooked the peeling paint on the walls and the lack of disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste when I checked in. But then, at breakfast, I picked up a small steamed bun, and as I took a bite, I saw mold spots... that's just unacceptable! The chicken also tasted sour, which is something I absolutely cannot tolerate!"

"The apartment itself is really nice, with a good location and a relatively quiet environment. The only downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great, and the hallway is incredibly long – it takes more than five or six minutes to walk to the elevator. Other than that, everything else is fine, and the airport shuttle service is quite convenient."

"The location is fantastic, right in Lujiazui, making it super convenient to visit attractions like the Oriental Pearl Tower. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly soft, so I slept really well. The staff were super enthusiastic and always willing to help. Plus, the hotel facilities are complete, the restaurant food is delicious, and the gym equipment is new. The price is also affordable, offering excellent value for money."

"The hotel is a bit far from Pudong Airport. The shuttle to the airport runs hourly by bus, and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The hotel's hygiene and facilities are pretty good. I was given a room on the first floor, very close to the lobby, so I could just open the door in the morning and head straight to the airport shuttle bus."

"Better than expected! I personally felt that even though the space wasn't super wide, it was actually a bit bigger than what the official photos showed, so two people sleeping there shouldn't be a problem. The bathroom was very clean, and they provided disposable towels to avoid any hygiene issues. I was initially worried the shower area would be too small based on the pictures, but it was actually decent to use. The natural light is amazing, so much so that if you don't close the sheer curtains at noon, the room really heats up from the sun. You'll naturally wake up when the sun shines in the morning. If you love sunshine and want to regulate your body clock, booking this place is really worth it. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway station, probably about a ten-minute walk, and you'd still need to take the subway to get to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives; the natural light alone makes it highly recommendable!"

"The hotel is located on the 2nd floor without any lift. Very clean room with a powerful shower spray bathroom. The bathroom has a modern and nice warm toilet seat and it's self flushing. The decor of the room is very nice with a beautiful painting. It has a kettle but without any coffee/tea beverages. Smooth and prompt check-in especially when we arrived about 1am from Pudong Airport. The lady receptionist directed us to our room promptly as we were rather tired. Our room faces a shady river and it's quiet. However, during the day, there is some ongoing construction in the next section of the building from about 9+ am. But by then, we are out exploring Shanghai. There are plenty of eateries nearby which are very good. The nearest Zhongshan Road Metro station (Red Line #1) is about 800m away.."

"The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a street away from Nanjing East Pedestrian Street. Therefore, there is convenience in the location, yet also quietness from being a street away. The amenities were great too, the room clean, and value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in Shanghai."

"Right next to Jinjiang Inn. After checking into my room, I noticed a loud AC unit outside. They changed my room, and I heard the front desk repeatedly remind the cleaning staff to put everything back as it was and to definitely change the sheets and duvet covers if anyone had sat on them. I was quite satisfied with the hygiene and service, and I'd come back again if I need a place to stay."
