"Even though it was an internal room with no windows, my child absolutely loved using the projector to watch cartoons – the projection quality was excellent. The front desk area has a nice design, and there was a festive Chinese New Year atmosphere. The hotel's location is convenient, and the facilities are well-equipped. Housekeeping was quick and thorough. We'd definitely come back if we have the chance."

The nearest subway station (较场口) is about 5mins walk (from hotel main building door, turn left, cross a traffic light, walk straight and cross another traffic light. see the escalators (and a big duck mascot). The subway station is just below. 😀 ... Hotel do provide free washing and drying of your clothes (pls do inform the front desk staff). The room is very clean! No foul smell in toilet. The view from the room's window is excellent!! (pls refer to photos). Overall experience is top notch!! "I think this is the best hotel I have been too. The best customer service ever received. They really went extra mile for us. We arrived very late at night and our lovely girl was there to help us and offered us a place to rest a bit at the lobby and some snacks which were really appreciated. The entire staff was so good in particular Orange, Luobo and Tutu, they were amazing, I am amazed by how caring and supportive they are. I hope the management rewards them because they are super! Best customer service ever and we travel a lot and we see a lot of nice hotels. The room is huge and the service as I said is amazing. The bath (or maybe swimming pool 🤣) in the room is a plus and I also the rainy spa was so cool. Breakfast is soo good and so big! I love that, I also had our lovely Orange help us with take out food. Thank you so much!"

"This hotel deserves five stars! I booked a twin room and was immediately impressed upon entering – the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of Raffles City. I could literally tick off a Chongqing landmark from my bed, watching the city's hustle and bustle by day and the light show by night – the view was absolutely incredible! The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The large TV and the chair by the window were also thoughtful touches. The location is directly opposite Raffles City, super close to Chaotianmen and Hongyadong on foot. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing!"

"Perfect location, right in the heart of Chongqing's downtown, at walkable distance of all main attractions. The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, but our room was then located on the 33rd floor. Be aware that not all elevators take you to all floors and that it can be time consuming to go up and down. While we had booked a room with views, the views were practically from the bathroom's window. The size of the room was fine with a quite big and well equipped bathroom. The bed was very hard for our liking. The staff was friendly and kept our luggage for us upon check out until night time!"

"This smart hotel with river views is incredibly thoughtful, and the experience was just fantastic!
My stay this time was a delightful surprise! The room I originally booked didn't have a great view, and I just mentioned it to the hotel owner. To my amazement, they immediately upgraded me to a river-view room. The view was so expansive, I could overlook the entire river – sparkling in the daylight and illuminated by thousands of lights at night. Every photo I took looked amazing!
The smart devices in the room were also a huge plus. The whole room was smart-controlled; lights and curtains operated with a single touch, making the stay super convenient. I especially want to commend the high-tech toilet – full-featured and hygienic, showing meticulous care in every detail.
What touched me the most was when I unexpectedly needed to send a package. I was worried about finding a courier service, but the hotel front desk didn't hesitate to help me with it, handling everything attentively and efficiently.

It's also very close to Linjiangmen Station on Metro Line 2, making transportation incredibly convenient.
Upon our arrival at the front desk, we were immediately offered complimentary popcorn and ice cream.
Every evening, they provide a complimentary 'goodnight porridge,' and the lovely staff would proactively message us on WeChat daily to let us know the dessert options for the evening. We also received a complimentary afternoon tea and two cocktails as part of our stay.

The front desk staff, especially the guy, was incredibly warm and responsible, and all the other staff members were just perfect. They patiently told us about all the fun places to visit and gave us detailed recommendations. Spicy food and warm-hearted people, what a beautiful and serene experience! This hotel definitely made the last two days of our Chongqing trip memorable. If I ever come back, I'm staying here from day one. Plus, the room was spacious and very clean. Excellent value for money!

GGuest UserThis was my sixth visit to Chongqing, and each time I try to experience a different type of hotel. This time, I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing, primarily to enjoy their club benefits. My entire stay was nothing short of perfect, deserving a full five-star rating. The hotel's thoughtful service and the excellent experience at the Executive Lounge were particularly impressive and made me feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located in the riverside district, within walking distance of the IFC shopping mall, the Grand Theatre, and the riverside promenade. Even destinations like Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao are just a 10-minute drive away.
The service was exceptionally professional and warm. From the moment I arrived, staff members proactively approached to help with luggage, guided me through the check-in process with constant smiles, and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities and services, addressing me by name with precision and warmth. During my stay, requests were handled with remarkable speed; when I called the front desk for extra towels and a bathtub liner, they were delivered to my room within minutes, with a gentle and polite demeanor. When leaving for a taxi, staff would spontaneously ask if I needed assistance and even helped adjust the front seats of the car after I got in – these thoughtful details truly highlighted the quality of service. Check-out was efficient and seamless; staff proactively inquired about my stay and even prepared a small farewell gift. The entire process was smooth, without any waiting, making the whole trip incredibly pleasant and hassle-free. The only minor point regarding service was a lady standing by the elevators who seemed out of place compared to all other staff. I was never sure what her role was; she always had a rather aloof expression. Occasionally, she would specifically press the elevator button for one or two people, but not for everyone. In any case, I never saw her press the elevator for me or greet me during my numerous trips up and down.
The Executive Lounge was an unexpected highlight of this stay. The space was quiet and elegant, with a simple yet grand design. Though not very large, it exuded luxury. The lounge offered exquisite meals for four periods outside of breakfast. For afternoon tea, given it was close to Christmas, the snack boxes were adorned with Christmas decorations, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. The evening cocktail hour was also à la carte, with a self-service bar for drinks. The unagi rice and chicken skewers were particularly noteworthy. The lounge service was equally attentive and thoughtful; staff would promptly replenish food and drinks, clear tables, and proactively ask if I needed anything, even thoughtfully providing a phone stand for us. They spoke softly throughout, making it a perfect choice whether you're relaxing alone or gathering with friends. Additionally, the breakfast spread was rich and varied, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts, and freshly squeezed juices all available, and the taste was consistently good.
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations. The excellent service and outstanding Executive Lounge experience added an extra layer of enjoyment to my Chongqing trip. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing!

GGuest UserMalaysian friends, you HAVE to check this place out! 🥳🥳 My friend highly recommended it after their stay, so I decided to give it a try too, and the entire experience was fantastic! 👍🏼 A big thank you to the front desk staff for taking such good care of us during our stay; their service was so thoughtful, it truly felt like coming home ☺️. We visited during winter, and all rooms use central air conditioning for heating. However, as Malaysians, it's really hard for us to sleep without air conditioning or a fan 🥲. Luckily, the hotel provided us with an electric fan, which allowed us to sleep comfortably and cool 🥰. I loved the beds and pillows in the room – they were just right, not too hard and not too soft! 💯 The bathroom also has a wet/dry separation and a smart toilet 🚽, which is a huge plus for Malaysians! 🤩 If you like ordering takeout back at the hotel, there’s even a special box in the room for takeout trash! 😍 We usually put our takeout waste in the box and place it outside the room 😗. The next day, the cleaning staff would take care of it for us 🥰. This concept is brilliant! It keeps the room tidy and clean while preventing odors and insects, etc. 😄 I have to give it a huge thumbs up! 👍🏼 The hotel also offers many other thoughtful services (self-service laundry + dryer, gym, free luggage storage 🧳, parcel collection 📦, etc.). If you love local delicacies, there are plenty of food stalls downstairs (guoba potatoes, sweet soup, BBQ, Chongqing noodles, fruit shops, fried noodles, fried rice, etc.). MM253818****This was an absolutely fantastic trip! Both the hardware and the service were impeccable. The butler contacted us in advance, met us where we got off, and helped with our luggage. When we arrived in the evening, supper was also delivered to our room. The portion size of the supper was seriously like a full meal.
The amenities in the room were the most generous I’ve ever seen in a hotel. They even thought of earplugs and eye masks, and the shampoo and body lotion provided were excellent.
This package also included a superb dinner, which my friend and I enjoyed as an early Christmas celebration. The Basque cheesecake among the desserts was incredibly delicious. Later, when we were sunbathing and having tea on the terrace, a server brought us sliced fruit and some small cookies. In short, I felt that the hotel's generosity stems from a magnificent operating philosophy. After reading the hotel team's introduction, it's clear that their aesthetic, attention to detail, and employee enthusiasm are all top-notch. My only regret is that there aren't more hotels like this – I've already recommended it to all my friends!

My accommodation experience for this trip was absolutely fantastic, so I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star review! The location is a huge plus – it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area and all the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. When it was raining outside, the hotel even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent.

From Jiefangbei in the city center, I overlooked Chongqing's brightly lit skyline. Outside the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, the towering buildings, one after another, showcased a bustling scene no less impressive than the Bund.
Staying right by a subway station in the city center made getting around incredibly convenient. Located beneath the iconic Cloud Eye observation deck, I could enjoy a private hot spring and sauna right in my room, making the 'night quiet and complete.'
Thankfully, my first travel destination of 2026 was Chongqing. 'The night sky from above softens everything: thoughts are no longer sharp, desires no longer urgent, and a gentle layer is added between people and the world.'

Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.

It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
