Great hotel, we really liked it. Upon arrival we were met and helped to register. They told us everything, showed us. The room is clean, has its own shower, toilet, kettle and stove. Quite close to the metro. The area is quiet.

The room is not big, the furnishings and decoration are not new, but it is very clean and comfortable for one person. It is 200 meters walk from JR Mejiro Station, and it is very convenient to go to Shinjuku Shibuya Ikebukuro. It is a very quiet and convenient community, with convenience stores, drug stores and various types of restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast has a rich variety and is cost-effective. The front desk staff's English is OK, and basic communication is no problem.

Smart check-in and check-out, go to the hotel through the platform early in the morning to check in and follow the instructions. It is very convenient and simple. Very friendly and helpful staffs. I stayed for 7 nights and everything in the room was perfectly fine to suit my needs, room wasn’t big but wise sized and cozy enough for me as a solo traveler. Excellent location easy accessible to all sightseeing spots, MRT stations are couple minutes away. Kabukicho is 5 mins walk, large amount of shops and restaurants nearby. A convenient store on G/F and you can grab food and drink easily. The only demerit is, it’s too close to Kabukicho and there’re bars right next to the hotel thus it’s always busy and crowded, you might have to pay more attention at night when walking back to hotel.

If you're looking for an affordable and good-quality place to stay, I highly recommend this hostel.
Although it's a hostel, it offers a surprisingly high level of privacy and ample space, so you won't feel cramped.
I arrived before the check-in time and the staff kindly allowed me to leave my luggage. Finding the place wasn't difficult, but it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station. If you have heavy luggage, it might be tiring, but there are underground walkways and elevators available, so it's not too inconvenient.
I stayed here for 5 nights in a 6-bed female dorm. The room was clean and spacious enough to fit a 28” suitcase, and the beds were quite large. As a larger person, I found them very comfortable and didn't feel cramped at all (I slept on the bottom bunk).
The bathrooms were clean and had both showers and bathtubs. Liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers were provided, so you don't need to pack them. If you don't want to bring your own towel, you can rent one from the hostel.
The kitchen is quite small but has a microwave, refrigerator, and sink. There weren't many dishes available, but I think you could ask the staff if you need more.
The laundry room has two coin-operated washing machines and two coin-operated dryers. I used them late at night, so I didn't have to wait in line. If you don't have any coins, you can exchange with the staff.
The common areas on each floor have plenty of seating for guests. There are also multiple power outlets available if you need to charge your devices.
There are Lawson and 7-11 convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient.
Cons (personal opinion):
- Unfortunately, on one of the nights I stayed, the fire alarm went off several times in the middle of the night. I think there was only one staff member on duty that night. The guests and I tried to find the cause of the alarm but couldn't find anything. When I asked the staff, he didn't know either. It might have been a malfunction of the system. Luckily, there wasn't actually a fire.
- If you're sleeping on the bottom bunk, even if the top bunk has curtains, the light still reflects off the wall, which can be disruptive to your sleep.

We had previously stayed here during sakura season and liked the convenience of the hotel being close train station. We appreciated all the relevant shops between the train station to the hotel ( drug store, bakeries, a couple of noteworthy restaurants and kombinis). We especially liked the smooth check-in process and the helpful staff whenever we asked for suggestions. Although the rooms were a little small, we valued the spotless condition and the good use of space in the way the room layout was done. Thumbs up for the well thought out bathroom and water pressure. This time around, we also enjoyed not having to be in the cold for too long especially because it was so easy to get from the station to the hotel that we didn't even have to use Google Maps.😄.
This time around, we were staying in the annexe building and we had an enjoyable stay with all the well thought out perks of staying at the Almont Nippori Hotel.

A great little hotel run by three Chinese sisters. The other staff can speak Chinese, so communication is barrier-free. The service is very considerate and the decoration is very warm, making people feel at home even in a foreign country.
The hotel is located in a residential area, very quiet, with supermarkets, convenience stores and self-service laundry rooms nearby, which are very convenient for life. It is only a few minutes' walk from JR Nippori Station, with convenient transportation, whether it is to and from the airport or to take the Yamanote Line to various popular attractions.
The hotel room is moderate in size, slightly more spacious than the standard Japanese hotel, but the bedding is very comfortable, and the mattress is really the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I asked the boss, who said it was Nishikawa's mattress, and I must find a way to buy one and bring it back later. The hotel also has a public living room with floor heating and a dining table, providing various kitchen supplies. You can buy food from the supermarket and eat here, or cook simple meals yourself, which is something that ordinary hotels cannot do.
In short, this is a hotel worth staying in repeatedly, especially for tourists with language barriers and unfamiliar with Japan, it is definitely the first choice.

Due to the flight delay on the first day of check-in, it took a long time to find the location of the apartment at night. The map is very useful. In fact, the navigation is quite accurate. We also printed the route map provided by the landlord to save time. In the next few days, I found that the location was pretty good, with easy access, with stations and convenience stores everywhere, which was very convenient.

GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
TTexas Longhorns92We returned for our next stay because if its convenient location. Even with four luggages, we manage to walk to the Shinjuku station at ease for thr Narita Express train to the airport.
GGuest UserI couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tidy and welcoming place to stay!
GGuest UserI would definitely return to this hotel again. The staff was very attentive and the location is fantastic. The room we had stayed in was newly renovated and the interior design was very user friendly. The breakfast at the premier lounge was amazing.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
EEthanWEIThe uniqueness of this five-star hotel is that it offers unparalleled comfort and first-class service. Whether you are traveling for business or vacation, we can meet your needs here. I was impressed with the modern amenities and thoughtful details in the hotel room. What's more worth mentioning is that the hotel's waiters always maintained smiles and enthusiasm, which made me feel more cordial and warm. If you are looking for a quality five star hotel then this hotel is undoubtedly your best choice.
SSALLESWe had a nice stay at Washington Hotel Akihabara. The hotel is well located, nearby metro lines and local trains which allow us to easily move around Tokyo. Although the room is small, it is well designed and it big enough for few nights. The bed is not very large but comfortable. We managed to sleep with our 2 yo kid. You can also choose between soft or hard pillow. The bathroom was quite big with a nice bathtub. Around the hotel, you have plenty of restaurant and convenient stores. The buffet breakfast was great and everything we try tastes really good ! There is a large choice between Japanese food and wester food. Finally, there is a laundry area which was really convenient.
AAnonymous UserEverything was so good! The staff were always ready to help, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was nice. Yes, the room was small but it is already mentioned.. enough to stay only for resting after exploring the city all day :) ps. thank you so much for considering my request to stay in a room with Skytree view <3
RRtz2nd time staying in this hotel. Location is so convenient as it is right in front of the exit for Higashi-Ginza station (direct line going to Haneda airport). Rooms are also clean and comfortable. The hotel's onsen are also perfect for a late night soak after a long day of exploring.
