Hotels in Ningxia Night Market, Taipei

I chose Santos hotel because all its rooms have windows. I got a regular sized hotel room with 2 twin beds, Location not in a busy part of town which is ok. . Hotel is not new but the room was clean, sheets and towels were pristine white. Generous with bottled water, coffee, tea in sachets. Staff were very helpful. Carpet can do with shampooing. Bedskirt needs to be replaced. A 5-10 min walk to the train station, very convenient. From the airport I took the bus, got off across the hotel and just walked short distance. Took bus going back to airport. Was able to go to bus stn via the train. Pics show view from my window and bus trip sched.They serve buffet meals. I would recommend this hotel for these reasons.

Pros: The room is clean and tidy. Can have the rooms clean daily and toiletries are replenished daily. We appreciate the free mini bar! Very good selection of breakfast Not too central, but there are nearby bus stops. Near Ningxia Market. A Starbucks Reserve shares a building with the hotel A Carrefour Market is just across, too. Cons It's a bit of a walk if you prefer taking the train.

Staff who can speak Japanese ... At my time, only Katakoto was there. I felt that the breakfast staff could do it better. It said, ”Toilet paper cannot be flushed,” and there was a large trash can next to the toilet. Amenity is minimal. PET bottle water and tea pack were placed as a service. In December, the air conditioner will be turned off when it is cold, and if it is still cold, they will lend you a blanket. Even if I turned off the air conditioner, it was cold. The toilet paper holder is not well installed and it is a little difficult to use, but it doesn't bother me for short stays. (There was dust in the parts that were hard to reach for cleaning, and some box of garbage fell under the table next to the bed. Hair was sticking to the waterproof silicon in the bathroom.) The floor is not carpet, It was a flooring sheet. There was a full-length mirror, but it wasn't very useful because the position was bad, but it was better than nothing. The location is between Minquan West Road Station and Nakayama Kuniko Station on the Nakawa Shinro Line at the transfer station of the Tamsui Shinyi Line and the Nakawa Shinro Line of the Taipei Shotoku MRT, both of which took less than 10 minutes on foot. There are many convenience stores nearby, and the night market of the castle town behind the hotel is recommended. Especially I want to eat water dumplings again! Breakfast was simple with porridge, white rice, fried rice, soup 1 type, bread, fried *, bacon, milk, orange juice, raw vegetables, fruits, bananas and oranges. The banana was very sweet and delicious! The last day was a tour that left when I couldn't eat breakfast, so he prepared a sandwich.

I recently stayed at Hotel I-Journey and was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a VIP room. The room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped. Despite its proximity to the reception and the occasional noise at night, the comfort and amenities more than made up for it. The staff's warmth and professionalism enhanced my stay further. I highly recommend Hotel I-Journey for those seeking outstanding hospitality and a touch of luxury.

We had a one night stay. It was decent. Underground parking costs NTD100 per day. One washing machine and one dryer are available for complimentary usage. There is one treadmill and one cycling machine. Room is clean and comfortable. Great bathroom. The only downside for us is the toilet door is not entirely shield. Slightly see through which is quite embarrassing.

The location was the best thing about this hotel! The rooms were clean and good. The service was just a bit disappointing. Even before arriving, I couldn’t seem to contact anyone through email, website or social media. I had to resort to calling international to confirm airport pickup. I spoke to Claire who efficiently made it happen but no apologies for never replying to my mails, no warmth in her voice - it was a preview of service onsite. True enough, we got to the hotel - they checked us in efficiently but I do not feel welcomed. Breakfast was good except again for service. The supervisor seem to be always upset when I ask something like I asked where we can get water - with her voice raised pointed at the table and said “There!” I felt stupid for not knowing! I guess I am just not used to being treated like this in a hotel. Not sure if this is because they have difficulty in speaking English so it was hard to interact? or culture differences? Maybe I had too high expectations because of the reviews I read and everyone received amazing service. The service level is consistently cold and disappointing in the 5 days we stayed. I will not choose to stay in this hotel again.

Depends on your destination, location is fine. Locker is big, like it. Bed is bigger than average, love it. No curtain, you can be easily disturbed by your neighbours, esp light. Gf toilet is not meant to design for girls,, freaking small

wanted to share my positive experience confirming my hotel stay with Ms. Gerie and her team. During our email conversation, I mentioned my preference for soft pillows. To my pleasant surprise, upon check-in, I found a wonderfully comfortable pillow waiting for me in my room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made me feel appreciated as a guest!

In the city center, walk 20 minutes to Ningxia Street Night Market. Behind me is the MRT station, there are convenience stores nearby, and there are many early morning shops. Environment is good, facilities are decent. The service staff was welcoming. But it seems there are only 8-person rooms? There is a tavern on the first floor, there is no front desk service at night, there is a small balcony on the roof, you can enjoy the MRT drive

It was very expensive on New Year’s Eve. Kyoto just opened a little lower. The facilities were old, but the overall stay was comfortable. The weather was a little cold on the day. Although there was no heating, it would not be too cold to sleep without air conditioning. The bed was clean and easy to sleep. It would not be too bad, and the service attitude was ok.
