The hotel's location is excellent, and there's a shuttle bus service to Yuanshan MRT station. All the staff in the lobby were friendly and professional. I'll definitely book the Grand Hotel again next time I'm in Taipei.

I stayed here eight years ago, and the rooms feel renovated. The old long-stemmed keys have been replaced with key cards. The view is still beautiful. I didn't book breakfast this time, but the hotel's cafe is quite good.

Staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei is a unique experience. The architecture itself is distinctive, and the views are unparalleled. There's even a walking trail in the hills behind the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will definitely be back!

Huge thanks to the staff for their warm welcome; it truly felt like a home away from home! The shuttle driver was incredibly helpful, providing clear directions that solved all our transportation worries. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious local specialties. The room was clean and spacious. This time I chose the Grand Kirin Room, and the view of Taipei 101 was excellent! The hotel's service was also great. The Grand Hotel offered me a completely different stay experience, taking me back to a historical setting. I also experienced the East Secret Passage, which cost NT$500 per person. Choosing The Grand Hotel means a good stay, good food, and a unique attraction. It's definitely worth experiencing.

One of the most iconic hotel in Taiwan, especially the Grand Hotel - Taipei, elegant deco all the way from lobby to the room. The Grand Hotel didn't disappoint us, whether the facility, hospitality, entertainment, foods and scenic/view from hotel. Everything was excellent, hotel also have shuttle to nearby MRT station every 30 mins, both driver & staffs were very friendly and helpful. We also did the tour to west gate secret passage, the guide has lot of knowledge about the history and explained the background, history of how the Grand become today's The Grand hotel. We tried two of the restaurants on ground floor next to the lobby, they were both very nice & gave all flavors Taiwan has to offer. We would stay here again next time if we visit again & highly recommend for anyone to try at least once in your lifetime.

It's appropriately called the grand hotel. The entry is grand and the room is pretty big with a grand view of Taipei at night. It also had a direct shuttle to the airport which happen to fit perfectly with our flight schedule at 1:40pm in the afternoon.
I gave everything a 5 because we enjoyed the stay, but we didn’t use much of the hotel other than to enjoy the grandness of the place. Breakfast was at an additional cost which made the stay a bit pricey but it was a grand send off to conclude our Taiwan trip.

The hotel is excellent in terms of service, the indoor environment and the atmosphere, the staff are so nice and helpful, just the location is not that convenient, but they still offer frequent shuttle bus between MRT stations.
