2-Star Hotels in Bari

"It was conveniently located near the train station and long-distance bus stop. I didn't check in online because I didn't understand the system, but I never expected there to be no staff there. I was surprised when I arrived at the hotel and the entrance was locked. Just then, someone came out, and I realized it was all online, so I quickly checked in. I was surprised when I entered my room and found that it had neither a lock nor electricity. lol I was also surprised to find towels and shampoo provided, which is rare for a dormitory. The toilet and shower are located downstairs. The common areas are nice. The toilet wasn't very clean, although that was probably just a coincidence. The room had no electricity, but it was reasonably clean. I guess that's to be expected considering the price. I received a WhatsApp message when I checked in, so I assumed they would provide proper support."

"It is a room on the 3rd floor in the flat with 6 rooms and two shared bathrooms. I missed informatiin about shared bathrooms and please pay attention on it. I occupied room number 3 .It was not big, but clean and convenient. It consists of air conditioner, which works very good, tv, small fridge and shellfs for clothes, table, kettle and small coffee machines with few tea bags and coffee capsuled. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Window were opened in the inner yard, not to the outside. Bathrooms were clean, they were cleaned by cleaner on daily basis. I got pack of towels-3 pieces. I stayed in this flat for 7 nights, towels were changed once per the whole period, for free. They have reception on the other Street, not far from property, if you want to pay for something by cash. I came late at night, in the entrance day I got link, by which I opened entrance door and also door to the flat. Near my room there was a black bok with keyd from my room and also from entrance door and door to the flat. Helpdesk is avaulable from 9 to 21 every day, they are answering questions fast and friendly. I asked for late check out, but it is possible to order it only till 1.30 PM, if you need to leave later, need to purchase the full night. Thanks a lot for owner and staff, all was perfect! Shared bathroom for me is not the best choice, but it was my mistake that I missed it in deception ... Location is very convenient, near old town and centrun. 10 mins on foot to reach Basilica of St Nicola. Many thanks 🙏"

La casa era pulita, ordinata e dotata di tutto il necessario per una vacanza senza pensieri. La posizione è ottima: tranquilla ma comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni della zona. Un punto in più va all’accoglienza: i padroni di casa sono stati gentilissimi, disponibili e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un soggiorno rilassante e ben organizzato!"

Even when we contacted them, there were times when we had trouble over the phone, as the guests came from abroad and did not have sufficient language skills. Also, even when guests arrived at the front door, they were made to wait an unnecessarily long time for the owner or their agent to arrive. Since then, I have made it a rule to choose accommodations that have a proper reception, even if they are a little more expensive. Guests arrive tired. I hope that the number of accommodations with excessive costs does not increase too much."
