A great choice in Singapore, very close to downtown with lots of dining options nearby. I especially loved that there are so many Turkish restaurants close to the hotel. A metro station is a 10 minutes walk away. The staff are friendly. My room was on the first floor, a bit small but beautiful and clean, with such a high ceiling! The hotel is an old historic building, the exterior and interior decoration make you feel like you traveled back in time. Will definitely stay here again

This is our second time staying at The Sultan, the location is great as it’s close to many bus stops, and about 13 mins walk away from the train station, and just 5 mins walk away from Haji Lane.
Our room got upgraded from the Sultan room to the Puteri room and we were very grateful for it.
The only thing was that because it’s a heritage building, the sound insulation is not the best, however if you can sleep through it then it’s fine because the room is clean & spacious.

They have a nice lobby and pretty decent for the price tag. Beside complimentary mineral water there are also complimentary soft drinks in the fridge.

booked a standard room for a business meeting. room was decent and clean with all ammenities replenished daily. The wadrobe was tiny though, just enough for 1 person.

Overall I'm satisfied with this Hotel and will coming again to stay here in the future. Please improve to provide the complimentary breakfast for guests and as well install the bidet spray in every of the toilets as the muslim peoples not using tissues to clean up. As well Put the kiblat sticker in the room for muslim prayer. thank you

Hotel is stylishly designed, room is clean and spacious for the price bracket. Sound proofing is very bad, we could hear the guest next door snoring, cars parking outside. Room amenities are less than expected, no hangers, no drinking water provided (hotel asked you to drink from the tap, though they did provide an electric kettle). Very strong air freshener smell. No phone reception.
