I have been here several times already. Found out that there would no longer be any Cartoon Room! Awww..would miss it dearly.. This time round, I’ve booked the single room. Had the exact same room as the last time too! Ooohh.. My family member just told me that he had to be out stationed at the eleventh hour.. Hence, I was given the duty to look after his child. Much thankful that he was allowed to stay over with me at the hotel room.

1. High cost performance. More than 600 is very cost-effective in Singapore. The room is clean and odorless. I booked 2 rooms and was generally satisfied. 2. The location is on Joo Chiat Road, suitable for city walk to the East Coast. People are relatively friendly. 3. The service is quite satisfactory. Singapore does not clean every day. You can ask the front desk. Especially the healing smile and greeting of the front desk lady every day are very touching. 4. There was a problem with the room on the first day of check-in. Communication solved it. If you are willing to communicate, it is not a problem. Overall satisfied.

Front desk staff were very friendly very Professional in introducing the hotel facilities and around the amenities. We felt very Welcoming as a repeated guest.Location is fantastic many good food from Local Chinese food to Western food .A good location for overseas guests to see Singapore's Unique local people's lifestyle and all types of Delicious local food. Meantime we are enjoying our stays !

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel, on June 1st, 2024, and overall, our experience was enjoyable with a few highlights and considerations. Location and Accessibility: Located in the vibrant Katong neighborhood, the hotel offers a unique blend of heritage and contemporary charm. It's well-connected to local attractions and offers a glimpse into Singapore's Peranakan culture. Check-in Experience: Check-in was smooth, and we were pleased to find that our request for connected rooms—a 2 Twin Beds Standard and a King Bed Standard—was accommodated promptly by the friendly staff. Rooms: The rooms were tastefully decorated, reflecting the Peranakan theme of the hotel. They were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with amenities that suited our needs. Having connected rooms was particularly convenient for our family stay. Breakfast: While the breakfast was included, we found it to be average compared to other offerings we've experienced at similar hotels. The variety was somewhat limited, and the quality was satisfactory but not exceptional. Service and Facilities: The hotel staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay. They were helpful in providing information about local attractions and dining options in the area. The hotel facilities, including the rooftop pool and fitness center, added to our overall enjoyment. Overall Impression: Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong provided a pleasant stay with its comfortable rooms, convenient location, and attentive service. While the breakfast could be improved, the connected rooms and ambiance of the hotel made up for it.

LOVED this hotel. We stayed in Singapore this time around to attend parkrun and this hotel is just a 10 minute walk to eastcoast park. Great 24 eateries close by too as well as your usual bars and convenience stores. The rooms were very comfortable; the view was insanely beautiful and the breakfast was EVERYTHING you wanted or needed. Asian/western and everything in between. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Singapore. Self service laundrette on site also (with ironing boards) as well as a gym.

It was a good stay! Front desk was friendly and agreed to provide extra pillows Room was spacious and hotel facilities like the gym and pool were just nice for a short stay. There are some signs of wear on furnishings but nothing too bad. Bed was clean and comfortable, pillows are supportive. Breakfast was quite delicious too, even had some Japanese options like soba and tamagoyaki.

Our family had a very wonderful time staying at Grand Mercure East booked 2 rooms from 29th Jan to 31st Jan I would like to thank Ms Sham from Sales dept for arranging an Elderly Friendly room for my 96 year old mother. As for myself, I, too, enjoyed the room assigned by the front desk staff, John . We also enjoyed the Cafe food served on the 1st floor. Ms. JULIET, the staff from this cafe was very professional putting her *SWEET SMILE * all day long and she patiently walked us through the menu and highly recommended us the Chef speciality dishes . Most important was my mum enjoyed the dish Hai Cheong Kai which was Highly recommendedby Ms Juliet...The hotel location is fantastic ,many local food eateries, a Mall is just 5 mins across the hotel. In addition, the Train station is just 5 mins walk directly opposite this hotel* Superb convenient for overseas visitors arrival at Changi airport to this hotel* Juliet keeps up your *Fantastic Good Service *. You made Grand Mercure Hotel proud as your service is SUPERB GOOD .*Juliet deserves a promotion* .. We definitely will recommend friends to stay at Grand Mercure hotel. Thank you Ms Sham John and Juliet for making our CNY 2 nights stays so wonderful .

Arrived in the night and was served by Mr Sahlim (sorry if I spelled ur name wrongly) who is efficent with my check-in and even gave us a comp upgrade for the night! I was awed by my room as it has a bathtub with a rain shower! The size of room is great and it even has a full length mirror just outside e bathroom! Gave 4stars for the amenities albeit basics were provided eg toothbrush+paste, cotton buds n pad, nail file, shower cap. Because the room have a hair dryer which was great but it no comb... But not everyone will be like me who forget to bring comb. Anyway thank you, Salim or Shahlim for making my stay memorable with your kind gesture!

Good place to stay for a short trip . The staffs were all friendly and helpful. One downside my room had a smoke smell . It could be the previous guests were smoking in the room. Hope the housekeeping could do something about the smells and ventilation of the place .

It’s like a standard ibis budget room, but I have no idea why the heck the housekeeping lady used to start vacuuming corridors at 6:30 am. The sound isolation is terrible and it was impossible to sleep while she was doing vacuuming, and she was doing it for more than an hour.
