"The location of the hotel is good, easy access from main road to get big bags to it and also to go around the ancient city both during day and night time to enjoy all the landmarks.
Missing signages make it a bit difficult to find the hotel at first. Also, while we had paid for a bigger rooms the room barely had walking space. It had no luggage storage space or cabinet. The washroom and room floor was not cleaned.
Staff on the other hand are very friendly and willing to help with all the questions - on local travel, places to see, vegetarian food, etc. They find a way to help to the best.
All in all was a good experience and would have been better with some adjustments."

"The room was spacious, equipped with a coffee table, sofa, fridge, and a kettle. There was even an electric stove and a range hood, so you could cook your own meals. Downstairs, there's a convenience store, and right outside, you'll find a bus stop on the main road. Across the street is a four-star hotel, and you can even see the ancient city walls right from your room window."

"I booked this room purely for its location, which is almost central and convenient for getting everywhere.
However:
1. The first room I was given had its door directly facing the corridor. From a basic understanding of feng shui, as well as visually and psychologically, it was very uncomfortable. After providing feedback to the front desk, they changed it.
2. The second room was in a corner, next to a cleaning closet. When I came back for a rest around 2 or 3 PM, there was a constant clicking noise.
3. After my afternoon nap, I pulled back the duvet to find three stains on the sheet. I checked my pajamas and confirmed I hadn't caused them myself. After reporting it, they changed it again!
4. On the last morning, while I was using the toilet, all the lights in the room suddenly went out!!! The entire hotel had a power and water outage?!!! The smart toilet lost power and couldn't even release its stored water???...
I've traveled countless times, but this kind of experience is truly a first!
Thankfully, the door could still open, so I promptly checked out and left, ending this ordeal!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the city center, making it easy to get to both the ancient city and commercial areas. Parking was also convenient for those arriving by car. Great value for money!
The rooms were clean and tidy, with a good separation of wet and dry areas. The soundproofing was also decent. The butler was warm and patient, always ready to answer any questions, which definitely enhanced our positive impression of Datong."

Fully furnished with complete amenities and complimentary private parking, it serves as an ideal rest haven for your stay in Datong, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
"The hotel is new (the TV screen protector hadn't even been removed yet) and the closets weren't fully set up.
If you're arriving by car, you access the hotel via the second-level underground parking lot.
Communication with the staff on Trip.com before arrival was excellent when I needed information.
The rooms we chose were in the basement, but the hallway was lit by natural light through skylights.
The owners don't speak English, but we managed to communicate using a translation app.
They were very responsive and resolved any issues, even at midnight.
The showers are a bit cramped; either the shower cabin isn't perfectly square, or in the other room, the space between the shower cabin and the sink is restricted.
Housekeeping was done daily, and water bottles were provided.
However, the toilet paper was supplied in very small quantities. If you ask at reception, they'll give you more, but it's always a hassle to have to go and ask when a normal amount could be provided initially. We only had one roll, which didn't seem full, regardless of whether you had a room for two or three people.
The electrical outlets don't accommodate French plugs, similar to what you find in Shanghai and Beijing.
There's no laundry service available.
The location is good, in a new district that's still under construction.
The alley leading to it at night is lovely, with the illuminated storefronts of the various houses.
The hotel can arrange a paid taxi service between the station and the hotel for guests staying in the basement rooms.
The rooms are well-equipped; only a few finishing touches, like bathroom caulking, are still needed."

The hotel has suitable shades of colors and is unique, fully displaying the beauty of oriental design. Nanshe always adheres to the guest-oriented service concept, VIP access, and the thoughtfulness and thoughtfulness of the private butler are even more meticulous. Friends from afar, if you come to Pingcheng from afar, you can follow Xu Xiake's footsteps and visit Beiyue Hengshan to visit the thousand-year-old "Xuankong" temple. "I chose Nan She for both of my trips to Datong, spaced about twenty days apart. The first time was by chance, but the second was a deliberate choice, both reflecting my high appreciation for every aspect of Nan She. It's located right beneath the North City Wall of the ancient city, close to Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower. Its proximity to the main road makes getting around very convenient. The entrance to the North City Wall is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a superb spot to watch the sunset over the ancient city. The breakfast at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean; every detail is perfectly executed. The overall service is beyond words – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of enhancing the travel experience, and both of my stays here provided an excellent one. Datong is a city you'll want to revisit; the more you get to know it, the more you'll love it. The blend of history and modernity, delicious food, and beautiful scenery offers endless appeal. "Chose this newly opened Cat's Horizon for my trip and it was a great choice! No regrets here. The environment is excellent, with a spacious and bright lobby and rooms.
