I come to Shaoguan often and always stay at Fengdu Ramada Plaza Hotel. The transportation is very convenient. The front desk and waiters are very good, the hotel facilities are complete, the toilets and bathrooms are large, the breakfast is rich, and the environment is very good. The overall accommodation was good. One bad experience during my stay this time was that the swimming pool was occupied by children who came to learn how to swim. Looks more like a resort than hotel. Hotel lobby was very grand but facilities are worn down. There is a gym and karaoke room but the karaoke looks more like night club, swimming pool looks old too and it’s closed. Room size ok, necessities are all equipped but lack of power points for charging and no international sockets. Shower surprisingly very comfy good water pressure with enclosed shower and bath tub, and I am very happy to see the washlet toilet. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs and the view is nice. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Buffet breakfast variety more local and food are all quite oily, very tasty though. There is a male staff at the reception which I would like to compliment, he helped us book DiDi during our stay throughout using his own account as we have issue with our WeChat. Excellent service! Took DiDi to nearby bainian dong jie for night market and food, must go place if you visit Shaoguan, try the mu mian ting chuan shao, very nice.

We had a great time, the room was nice, modern and clean. We were greeted politely and one guy even spoke a little English. We can speak a little chinese but this was still nice. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the breakfast, most of it was quite cold with a few things that were ok. Also we had to ask another guest to stop smoking in the dining room, something that we feel the staff should have told him. We did leave a phone and another personal item that they kindly kept and sent to us (another city) that we are really thankful for. Overall a nice experience. Thank you.
