Gesang Zangyi Inn is really recommended. There are ladies picking you up at the gate of the ancient city. No matter how early you need them, they can help you get there. The room is very local, clean and has a good environment. The point is that it is very close to the prayer wheel, and you can see the night view at night in the inn, which is very good.

As soon as we arrived in Shangri-La, we contacted the inn owner to pick us up at the gate of the ancient city. Because the stone road in the ancient city is not easy to walk, the owner will pick us up at the gate by tricycle. As soon as we entered the yard, the owner invited us to the leisure room to roast fire. It was very warm. We could also roast food on the stove. We could also consult the owner for some advice on avoiding pitfalls. There were also many drinks, fruits, snacks and chocolates prepared in the leisure room, all of which were free to eat. It was so comfortable. There is a balcony on the second floor of the inn where you can directly see the prayer wheel and the Big Buddha Temple. You can sit there in the sun for an afternoon. The key is that there is also a super large kitchen in the inn, with microwave oven, ice maker, oven, steamer, wall breaker, etc. You can also cook in it yourself. It's really like being at home. I highly recommend it!

Good service, you can ask whatever you want and host will help you as much as he can. Location is around center of old town, you can find the food or souvenirs in there, but a bit dirty, anyway acceptable.

Wandering around Dukezong Ancient Town, I accidentally discovered this treasure homestay. When I checked in, the owner was making coffee and enthusiastically invited us to drink it together. He also recommended the attractions and food worth visiting in Shangri-La😍 In the evening, when we returned to the homestay, the owner took out his plum wine to share with everyone. We roasted fire and chatted with friends from all over the world and shared what we saw and heard. I also talked a lot with a Dutch couple that day. I heard from the owner that this small courtyard has a history of 200 years. He has just taken over for half a year. It is very popular on foreign websites, so I often receive some foreign tourists. The morning sunshine in the homestay is particularly good. The kitten "Guoba" is fattened by the owner. When we were leaving, the owner heard that we were going to drive to Meili Snow Mountain by ourselves, and reminded us to pay attention to safety. He enthusiastically rode a tricycle to send us out of the ancient city. I wish the boss's business is getting better and better, and his English is getting better and better. See you again if we are destined👋

It was an amazing stay. The host made this place the best in our vacation. A friendly guy who offered us coffee and later even cooked for us twice. The food was amazing and we talked the rest of the night with him and the other guests. We had a blast and I would recommend this stay also for the very good location. We went on hikes and saw the old town. The hosts even brought is to the bus station when we had to leave!

The owner of this inn is super nice. The roads in the ancient city are difficult to walk on, so the owner will drive a tricycle to pick you up. The owner will also make coffee for the guests and prepare various snacks, fruits and drinks. There are surprises everywhere. The room is also very clean and tidy, with heating and electric blankets, which is very warm in winter. You can see the prayer wheels from the observation deck

The night view of the inn is very beautiful. The key is that you can contact the owner to pick you up by tricycle when you arrive at the gate of the ancient city. It is very convenient. You don't have to worry about the cobblestone road damaging the suitcase. The inn also provides fruits, drinks, snacks, and the owner's coffee and raw coconut latte for free. There is also a stove in the lounge, which is very warm.
