Hotels Near Neishi Residence in Shanghai

Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Booked this hotel as it was close to Disneyland. The service was good despite the language barrier. The room was nice and the price was so good! There was also a projector although it was only in chinese. Not an issue as I only turn it on for background noise. They also provide Chinese breakfast which I love it! There’s a convenient store and noodle shop just outside the hotel and Starbucks and KFC a block away if you are not used to local food. Most importantly, they provide airport and Disneyland shuttle which made my stay hassle free!

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to Disney and Pudong Airport, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. We took a taxi from Pudong Airport in just 20 minutes. There is also a hot spring place next to it. Opposite the hotel is a green forest. There are hot pot, barbecue, and squares next to the hotel. It is very convenient to go shopping at the outlets. The room is well decorated and cleaned. Especially the hygiene of the room is really clean. My friend said it is a treasure hotel with very good service and hygiene. The mattress and pillow are very comfortable. The store must have spent a lot of money to buy these things. The aunt who cleans the room is very polite. The front desk lady is also very good. She helps to move the suitcases. There are plenty of parking spaces. There are parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel. The bath water volume is large and comfortable. The intelligent heating of the toilet is very user-friendly in winter. The bath water volume is large. There is also a free Disney shuttle bus to pick up, which saves the cost of taking a taxi. The store also gave a warm baby and a mask when leaving the store. It is really considerate. I must recommend it to my friends and I will stay here next time. There are a lot of people visiting Disney, so I suggest you make a good plan. All your time is wasted waiting in line. Anyway, it was a perfect trip for me.

Great location, free/convenient airport to hotel shuttle service, the front desk staff 向日葵🌻小姐姐are very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean,quiet and comfortable. Great variety of the buffet breakfast. We were there the day before Christmas 🎄, my son had earlier Christmas 🍎 🎁 when we were checked in. Our family were enjoyed our stay in the Pudong airport Vienna hotel very much 💕😄and we will definitely do it again.

This hotel was great for me for such a price. Not far from Pudong Airport as well as the closest subway station. It takes around 1 hour 15 minutes taking both bus and subway to arrive to the Bund. The hotel is clean, the bed isn't bad at all. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel for people willing to use the bus and subway to discover Shanghai 🤝

Good experience in a local village. Purpose of choosing to stay here is because is near to Disneyland and at the same time we can experience the local village environment. We stay at Building B, there is the same Homestay in walking distance, both the same owner. Staff are very friendly, caring and helpful, well explained of Disneyland informations from what to prepare, how and what to enjoy. The stay include breakfast, 1 way transfer to/from airport and transport to and back from Disneyland. Just few houses away is the local mini market where you can buy some snacks and drinks, and local restaurant too

The hotel is about 10mins by car from the Disney station. the hotel has about 50 rooms with different themes. we book 3 family rooms, 2 sunset theme and one room with slide.. we forgot to take photo of the rooms but the environment was very nice and pleasant. the hotel provides shuttle service to and fro disneyland at specific timings, add their wechat acct to make bookings and get timing informations. the hotel provides food service too and was very delicious.. we had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant.. but not exactly a restaurant more like a home cooked food by one aunty. ordered thru the wechat app and can just time them wat time we want the meals to be served.. thumbs up.. really good service too.. the kids had fun with tue cats and dog and pony in the premise. will definately come back again to stay if we travel to shanghai again.

The environment is very good. There may be some small noises from outside at night, but you can hardly hear them. Earplugs are also provided. There are takeaways nearby, and robots will help deliver them to the hotel. The lady at the front desk is also very nice. It is very close to Disneyland and Pudong Airport, and it is convenient to take a taxi. I will recommend it to my friends and will choose this hotel next time!

For those who like to go Disney Land and get back to Pudong Airport is a great place for you all to stay. Location is quite far from city but near the above 2 places.

New hotel! Very clean, looks amazing. Definitely worth staying especially during the long transit! Very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel located close to the airport, very convenient. I was picked up from the airport and dropped off at the terminal. It was a bit difficult to book the shuttle bus service because I don’t have WeChat. I had to ask the information desk at the airport to help me and call the hotel. I would really appreciate if the hotel organises more convenient way of communication for foreign visitors.
