great location close to the river front and easy to get to things, The hotel staff was great friendly and helpful with all our needs. The room was very historical and quaint could be a little noisy but the hotel has ear plugs in the room for you along with pop corn and water

This inn is in an old building that has been lovingly preserved. We stayed on the third floor and were delighted when we opened the room door, what wonderful ambience! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful, full of helpful suggestions that made our stay so much fun. It is also in such a convenient location, within walking distance to everything we did. Highly recommend a stay in this lovely Inn.

After reading so many great reviews, and seeing how expensive this hotel is (320$+ per night), we were excited to stay at the East Bay Inn. The location is great for exploring and the bed was large and comfortable. You can get water and soft drinks at reception and there's drip coffee available all day. Parking was free, too. Unfortunately there were a lot of negatives, which means we wouldn't recommend staying here. Noise - The road is very noisy, all through the night. We had a ground floor room, meaning pedestrians could look straight into our room from the side walk and we could hear people clearly as they walked past. Other guests in their rooms and at reception, were equally audible at all times of day and night. While the hotel supplies ear plugs, these aren't enough to keep the noise out and we didn't sleep much for the three nights we were here. We did ask for a different room, but the hotel was fully booked. Housekeeping - We were in our room for about 10 minutes between 10am-4pm one day and so the housekeeping team didn't clean our room. They did remove our towels for some reason. Overall the room isn't clean - dirty under the bed, thick layers of dust on the curtains, dusty and dirty in the corners and in the cupboards. The bedding is also odd in that you get a sheet, a blanket with quite a few holes in it, and then a duvet on top without a cover on it (you can even see this on the marketing photos). The reception team isn't unfriendly, but also not warm or welcoming in any way. No attempts at "southern hospitality", everything is very transactional. There was one gentleman, I believe called William, who was very courteous, but the rest of the team seemed to view us more as chore than a guest to be welcomed. The reception team mentioned that they were "inundated" with booking requests due to Hurricane Milton, but when we offered to leave early and continue our road trip elsewhere to make room for people fleeing from Florida, they showed no interest which we found slightly odd, too. The bar and breakfast/lunch diner are in the same building as the hotel, but separate businesses. Staff there are friendly and made a real effort to welcome us. Overall we were disappointed at the value for money, lack of cleanliness and noise offered by the hotel, and wouldn't return.

Lovely boutique hotel close to the Riverfront. Room was small, but expected in such a historic building. Small bar for a nightcap and breakfast downstairs at Debis was top notch. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Recommended.

Lovely historic hotel located close to everything in the historic district! Everyone there was so nice the entire time we stayed. The room - a corner king - was beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable. While we didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs, we did visit the bar (with our free drink tickets), and the bartenders were also very friendly and willing to share insider tips on what to do and see in Savannah. We were lucky enough to get a spot in the attached parking lot and just left our car parked for the whole weekend. It's a small lot, but there is also a public parking garage about a block from the hotel. No worries! We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely stay again the next time we're in Savannah. Treat yourself to this one, it's worth it! **Special shout out to Emily, who welcomed us when we showed up at 1am exhausted and ready for bed. She was so friendly and efficient, getting us to our room - and bed - quickly! :)**

We had a great stay at East Bay Inn. Large elegant rooms with big windows. Comfortable beds. Well-appointed bathrooms. In-room refrigerator. Water and snacks provided. Good wifi. Complimentary wine or beer in the bar downstairs each evening. Super accommodating and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

We had read reviews of the East Bay Inn before booking our stay. All said how nice the rooms are & how friendly the staff is. And it's true! The East Bay has some of the most welcoming & friendly staff we've ever experienced at an inn/hotel. The room was clean & didn't really cramped. Loved the daily snacks we received as well as the free drink vouchers for each day of our stay. Great central location! We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises!

From arrival to departure-everything was perfect. The entire staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Every need (extra towels, coffee, water bottles, soft drinks, dining and touristy recommendations) was met. Debi’s restaurant downstairs was excellent bonus. The popcorn was a great touch. I highly recommend the East Bay Inn.
