The hotel in the old house, don't love the decoration style too much. I like its restaurant and reception area the most. The Earl of Chatham Suite we booked is also super stylish. The Chinese vases and Chinese paintings in it please Chinese guests like us. You have to climb the second floor with your suitcase. Although there is no meal included, the hostess still provided us with a simple and nutritious breakfast, and the handsome waiter has a super nice attitude. The feeling of a five-star hotel is that the cleanliness is still worse than that of a star hotel in terms of norms and standards. There are stains on the bed sheets, and the skin itches when you sleep. Booked a city sightseeing bus, and the hotel called a shuttle bus to send it to the departure station. Next to it is St. John's Church, architectural aesthetics + painted art, beautiful. Facility: Art House Sanitation: needs to be improved Environment: super good The service was excellent

Second time we've stayed and the experience was extraordinary. Don't want to dwell on one thing but the only thing that was subpar was breakfast. Smallish portions, very little fruit and bizarre policy of not serving one guest if the spouse is not seated. I run in the mornings and my wife told the woman there but she said she needed to wait for me to get back even though it wasn't clear when that would be. And then the policy of sharing the hot water for tea. Crazy .Really strange when we were paying hundreds of dollars a night. And how about a little fruit. Can they afford that? Anyway 99% of the rest was great.

The property was in very poor repair. The people were nice, but there were so many issues with the room in terms of cleanliness, aesthetics and functionality. They are also very rigid about their offerings. It is very difficult to get coffee and they do not even have the ability to do coffee in the room. If someone wakes up earlier than they have scheduled, you cannot even get coffee. It is almost like a boarding house in which the property wants to control every aspect of your visit and offer a one size fits all approach rather than any type of personalization. The breakfast was mediocre at best and was served probably out of chafing dishes and made in advance. It seems as if they have the friendliness down, but everything else is lacking.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted with exceptional hospitality. The Inn is absolutely stunning. Pictures do not do justice on how well taken care of this historic home is under the management of Hamilton-Turner Inn. When you arrive be sure to sign the guest book and under the table is maps of the city along with a trolley map. They come in handy. The Inn offers many great amenities including bikes to explore the area with. Daily in the parlor there is complimentary fruit infused water along with fresh fruit and cookies. Early evening they have happy hour which consists of wine and hors d’oeuvres. My husband brought it up to our room for us to enjoy while I was getting ready for dinner. If you are back to the Inn before 10 pm after going out to dinner, they offer port wine and fresh cookies from 8 to 10 in the parlor. We were able to enjoy them one night during our stay as we got back in time. We stayed in the carriage house, room 503. It was on the stop floor. There are no elevators of course but that was ok with us. If you cannot climb stairs, I suggest staying on the first floor. The carriage house is directly behind the main house, just a few steps away. It was very quiet. I am a light sleeper so I knew regardless if we stayed in the carriage house or main, I would want a top floor. In the main house there are 4 levels. The old servant quarters are rooms in the basement and then there are 3 levels above. If you like to sleep in and do not want to hear noise I probably wouldn’t stay on the main level as that is where the parlor is, the dinning room ,and reception desk. The carriage house was completely renovated not too long ago. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed had a memory foam mattress and was comfortable. We have a sleep number at home and like many no bed is as comfortable as your own, but I slept great at the Inn. Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. It is southern style and absolutely delicious. We honestly could not have asked for a better stay. It was a short weekend trip this time but we will definitely come back and stay at the Inn. We absolutely loved our stay.

We loved our time here. Staff is fantastic and the inn is so beautiful! It was worth the extra cost to stay somewhere so memorable. It is included in all the history tours of Savannah and I can see why. We walked to everything - this is a must-stay place!!

We were very impressed with the beauty of this Inn! The location was perfect, and the accommodations were very comfortable. Our room was a little tight, but to be expected for an Inn. Overall, wonderful stay and would recommend to friends.

We were in room 501 of the carriage house with patio doors leading to a lovely garden. Nathan greeted us upon arrival and made us feel like old friends. Tim was there in the morning and equally as friendly and amazing. The location was perfect. The steeple of St John's cathedral right across the street was a beacon landmark when we were walking about. The breakfasts were gourmet and delicious. The complimentary wine and snack sessions were a welcome surprise
