Hotel Central, nestled in the vibrant heart of Macau's historic city along Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, is ideally situated near iconic landmarks such as St. Paul's Ruins and the Senado Square. Following a meticulous HK$2 billion acquisition and revitalization project, this century-old treasure was gloriously reborn in 2024. This singular century-old boutique hotel ingeniously merges a nostalgic retro aesthetic with advanced technology and eco-friendly principles, resulting in an ambiance that is both evocative of the past and refreshingly contemporary.

"I absolutely loved this hotel! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The cleanliness is top-notch, but what truly stands out is the staff. They went above and beyond in every aspect—from luggage storage to local recommendations. Even when it rained, they were right there to ensure our comfort. The room amenities are premium and very generous. Location-wise, it’s perfect—right next to Senado Square and a short walk to St. Paul’s Ruins. Breakfast was impressive, and the rooftop bar is a must-visit; the drinks are great, and the night view of the city is stunning. Everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend it to all my friends!"

"Our check-in experience was fantastic, thanks to Andy. He was incredibly professional and efficient, allowing us to check in early and even upgrading us to a room with a great view. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. He also gave us some small candies as a welcome gift, which were delicious! Overall, a very enjoyable check-in. When we checked out, we stored our luggage at the West Wing lobby, and Sheng there was also wonderful. The service was impeccable, very thoughtful and attentive. All in all, my experience at The Venetian was excellent, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau."

A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. "Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately dazzled by the blingy crystal chandeliers! The service staff were not only handsome but also incredibly friendly. Our 'fireworks view' room offered an expansive view; we could lie on the soft mattress, watch TV, and enjoy the tranquil lake scenery outside. In the afternoon, we went downstairs for dinner, then my friend and I bought some beers. We chatted away while sipping our drinks, and the atmosphere became even more magical when the Macau Tower lit up at night. I'd definitely pay for this night view again; my friend and I were both very satisfied! (P.s. A deposit is required upon check-in, and you might have to wait a while for the elevator during peak hours, so I recommend planning your trips accordingly.)"

"The room was super clean! It had a smart toilet and all the toiletries. Plus, they even gave me a free instant photo when I checked in! The whole experience was amazing! It's incredibly close to the Municipal Affairs Bureau, and if you're up for walking, you can pretty much get anywhere in the old town on foot. There are pharmacies and 7-Elevens nearby, and plenty of places to eat. On the left side of the lobby is MOMOKAWA coffee, where you can get breakfast for 58 (presumably MOP) starting at 9 AM, and it's decent. There's also a restaurant on the second floor. It's a pretty photogenic place too! The rooftop observation deck offers a view of the Macau Tower, which looks beautiful when lit up at night! The front desk ladies, YOYO, SUSIE, and YING, were all incredibly nice and proactive in helping me both check-in and check-out. You can ask them anything! They also have special offers and activities. It's really close to the bus stop outside, offering incredible value for money in the old town!"

"Great value for money, close to Fisherman's Wharf and Sands, with free shuttle bus access. The hotel has a vintage European charm, and check-in was smooth, check-out was quick. Drawbacks: Facilities are a bit old (opened in 1995). Not in the city center. Recommended for: budget travelers, photography enthusiasts, and families."

Lisboeta has 574 guestrooms and suites, with the interior design that evoking 1960s Macau, enhanced with modern twists to traditional elements such as the folding doors of Macau traditional store and old Macau images to reflect the evolution of Macau from the past to present.

"Location: It's quite remote. There's only a shuttle bus from Hengqin Port, and it picks up at exit H after customs. It's a small mini-bus, and it runs on a schedule, so remember to ask the hotel for the times and stops in advance. Although they say you can catch the Grand Lisboa shuttle, it's definitely inconvenient to walk a distance with luggage. Facilities and Hygiene: The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were decent. Adapters were provided, but the view was pretty bad. Many of the shops downstairs haven't been leased yet, so it's not suitable for those who want to spend time at the hotel. Food: I specifically bought and brought breakfast with me. Although there were three restaurants to choose from, they were all incredibly disappointing. The variety and quality were ridiculously limited, not even comparable to a Hanting Hotel in China. Summary: If you're looking for something cheap and just need a place to sleep, you can consider it. But if you want to relax at the hotel and enjoy good food, then don't choose this one. There's no pool, limited dining options, nothing to explore, and no convenient transportation."

AAnonymous UserBooked the Grand Lisboa Hotel for my parents' silver wedding anniversary. Given that they're older, a prime location was crucial, and their stay was fantastic. The hotel not only offered a complimentary airport pick-up but also thoughtfully upgraded them to a suite and provided an anniversary cake. The service was professional and attentive, with incredible attention to detail. My parents were extremely satisfied. Highly recommend – the Grand Lisboa will definitely be our first choice next time we're in Macau! 👍🏻

YYibeiqingxindeweiThe hotel is conveniently located right by the main road. The surroundings are decent, and you can easily cross the street to reach New Yaohan. To the left of the entrance is Senado Square, and a short walk uphill from the intersection on the left will take you to the Ruins of St. Paul's. If you go straight right from the intersection, you'll find the Grand Lisboa and Lisboa casinos. Walking right from the hotel entrance along the waterfront will lead you to the Macau Tower. The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and service are all satisfactory. The price is neither cheap nor expensive, but rather moderate for the area.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right across from Grand Lisboa, just a 2-minute walk. I stayed on the 11th floor; the room was very clean and tidy, with no strange smells. The bathroom was well-equipped with soap, a shower cap, and lotion. The bed was comfortable. There was only one UK-style power outlet near the dressing table, and the one by the bed was a USB charging port. The soundproofing could be a bit better. It's super close to the 21A/26A bus stop and the famous Lao Day Beef Offal, and Senado Square is also very nearby. Overall, it's great.

ZZailvtuzhongdelaoliuThe lobby seating area on the first floor felt a bit small, with only a few chairs. However, the rooms are very spacious, especially for Macau standards. The hallways and elevators were clean and tidy. The room service staff on the sixth floor were very enthusiastic. I booked two non-smoking rooms, but one of them had a strong cigarette smell upon check-in. I called room service, and they quickly brought an air freshener to deal with it, although a slight odor lingered.
