SunShine Hotel

The balcony door didn't lock and we were told "we've never had a break in"!!! The bed and towels weren't changed despite being told it would be done twice a week. There was no hot water for 4 days. The shower leaked into the hallway outside the room. The shower and sink were not cleaned during our 2 week stay. The bedroom was dusty. The fridge was broken and stained inside. The pool area was tatty. Thr breakfast was poor and very limited.

It isn’t a fancy hotel but rooms are modern and clean, tastefully decorated with comfy beds and a decent sized balcony. Nice pool and sunbeds always available. I stayed in a room at the back on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. Decent storage in room and has a mini fridge and good aircon. Only downside was breakfast. Take your own coffee and teabags and perhaps muesli/cereal. Manager Christina was very helpful in providing local info. The family restaurant next door also does great cocktails!! Bus stop right outside and buses are regular and run til late. Lardos is quite small with a handful of nice restaurants and the (pebble) beach is only a 3 min walk from hotel. Lindos is only a 20min bus ride and there’s a travel shop 2 mins walk from hotel to arrange trips around the island. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe both at the hotel and in the local area. Locals are very friendly. I would def recommend this place if you want a chilled, laid back break. One of the best holidays I’ve had in a long time.

Been home in England 6 days. And spent our 4 th time at this lovely hotel. Missing The hotel and Rhodes already. Just a lovely quiet hotel. From popi the owner and her husband to Christina the manager. And the cleaning ladies. Everything just perfect. Breakfast is quite adequate. Pool lovely. Definitely returning next year. the hotel is very nice and relax it have a Familien claim and near from beach and clean the breakfast is okey egg youghrr chees milk cornfliy orangejuse .. swimmingpool is clean but small just 150 cm it is near from bus station too the rooms are nice have tv fridge and big balkoon

My wife is disabled we asked for a ground floor room when we got there , we were greeted by steps to the entrance of the hotel once inside we were told all the rooms on the flat were taken.so it was either down 2 flights of stairs or up 2 flights of stairs we choose downstairs . The lady in charge,her name is Christina ,was most concerned and she she leave with her and she would sort something out .while we were in the apartment Christina came round and said she had got us a studio apartment on the leavel , she helped us move our cases over to the new place with the help of the man in the next apartment which was very kind .the studio was so much better for my wife can’t thank Christina enough for all her help. The hotel it self was fantastic lovely pool fantastic views would recommend it

We were blown away by the standard of this hotel, we have stayed in many 2 star hotels on various Greek islands and this outshines many 3 stars. Christina is lovely and super accommodating - the family at the bar attached to the hotel are fabulous - especially popi who tried to convince me she was 21 after I convinced her I was 28 😚 Georgia is also lovely but likes too many pina colada 🤣 - I hope we get to visit again soon 😍
