Find the Cheap Rhodes Hotels

This hotel was certainly one of the best I've ever stayed in. Rooms were cleaned to a very high standard with fresh towels and bedding daily. The food was great (we were only bed & breakfast) but there was such a good choice and all the staff are so warm and friendly. Lefteri the waiter made us feel very welcome from the start and came and spoke to us every morning. He has worked at the hotel for 36 years which speaks volumes for me. During our stay it was my birthday. I opened my cards in the morning and put them on the dresser. When I returned to the room later that day there was a card and a bottle of wine left for me from the cleaners, Entelo & Bona which I thought was a lovely touch. Thank you ladies! The pool area was also immaculately clean and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. If you couldn't get one right next to the pool there were always plenty available on the grass. The sports facilities were fantastic too and kept my 13 year old son occupied. He would look forward to the water polo, darts and beach volleyball. I joined in with the aqua aerobics which was so much fun and even treated myself to a massage. Ben, head of entertainment took most of the activities and made my son's holiday. He's a great guy who absolutely loves his job and is a huge asset to the hotel. The majority of guests I would say were Dutch who were really lovely to us, spoke perfect English and would invite my son to play volley ball with them in the pool. There were also a few Germans who were fine but a bit more reserved and a few English who would always stop and chat. Not one person I spoke to had a complaint about the hotel or staff. The bar area gets quite busy at lunchtime but it didn't take long to be served and there were always tables available. The gyros was definitely a hit with my son and my husband and I had a salad every day for a healthy option. I tried every salad on the menu and they were all delicious. Andreas from the bar was so kind. A young uni student who wanted to improve his English. He served our food and always made a point of asking if we were having a nice holiday and made lovely polite conversation with us. The beach was very beautiful but a bit windy on occasions for me and the sea looked a bit rough. There were always people swimming and it was nice to watch the windsurfers. The sunbeds on the beach were 4 euros a day. You can also see Turkey from the beach which is apparently only 11 miles away. In the evenings we ate out and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We opted for Greek food most evenings which was amazing but noticed a few Italian restaurants and the occasional sports bar which served mainly fast food. All in all we never had a bad meal and the Greeks are so hospitable and kind and can't do enough for you. We didn't catch much of the evening entertainment apart from the Greek dancing where the guests participated. Had we known we would have returned earlier to join in. It looked like great fun. Th

The hotel is called a ‘luxury’ hotel- if you call luxury having ants crawling all over your face and head when you wake up then go for it. There were ants in all the rooms and we constantly had to ask for bug spray- to the point we had to access the cleaning cupboard personally just to get the spray. It didn’t help the rooms only got cleaned every 2 days including clean towels which made the problem worse. There is a massive issue with OVERBOOKING at the hotel where our whole wedding party were either moved rooms on one or more occasions or made to go to a sister hotel with no certainty of return. It was only when we started to complain that we got a result. There we damp, mould and leaking issues in numerous rooms that the wedding guests were staying with. The hotel management showed a lack of organisation- my brother in law also found a cockroach leg in his omlette (very distinctive as a bugs leg unless you are blind) - when he approached management about it they became very defensive and actually threatened him with the police - continued with them insisting he was lying publicly on his review left. Overall it was a very stressful experience which impacted the wedding party and caused the bride to start her wedding day off feeling considerably unwell. Very out dated with a lot of maintenance issues. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially with kids or elderly.

I wonder which rooms were shown for the hotel to get 4 star rating. Based on how our room looked and the breakfast, it cannot get more than 2,5 stars. Pros: great location, friendly staff (but i guess in this line of business friendliness is requires). I’ll put breakfast here, although it was nothing special…continental breakfast with not so many choices, but it is eatable. Cons: room had a whole wall chipping due to water issues in the past. Absolutely no sound proof, the door to the room had a 2cm crqck between the floor and door. So the result was we heard everything and everyone in the hallway. Not only that the guests don’t respect the silence sign, the cleaning ladies as well (cleaning room above ours at 6:30, moving furniture). The toilet/shower was all in one, such a small space that when we showered the water went all around, even wetting the toilet paper. And after you shower, it’s impossible to use the toilet till the next morning, as the floor is flooded and we had to go to the lobby toilet. The sink is moved next to the bad, which is not an issue for me, but the faucet is broken so you can’t close it. For the price they have it’s definitely not worth it.

I had an amazing time in Mediterranean hotel. Room was perfect with the sea view. We could enjoy wonderful sunsets and amazing sunrises from our balcony. Room was very modern and clean. Hotel stuff was wonderful to us, we really felt welcome and taken care of. Food was amazing, myself, I have dithery restrictions and I always had plenty of choice to choose from. One more adventage of the hotel is its location in the city and next to the beautifull Elli beach. Water at the beach is so clean like in some bay- you would not believe that you could find such a beach in the city. Old town is beautiful as well and in walking distance. I would like to come back and especially to thank to Lucas, Adele, Mirjana, hotel receptionist and the management for wonderful welcome and stay. Kind Regards, Arthur &Dijana

This hotel is located literally a two minute walk from the beach,with bars and restaurants and It’s about a 15 minute walk to the port and old town.Wr stayed for 4 nights and I can honestly say it was a great find and we were so glad we stayed here.Can’t fault the staff both on reception and maids or the cleanliness of the hotel throughout.Rooms were quite small for a family but we only slept there and we had a decent size balcony which included table snd chairs and an airer for our clothes which was very useful.The rooms had free air con which worked fine and kept us cool at night.you just leave your key in the switch when you enter the room and it turns on.Also if you close and lock the patio door it automatically comes on.We found the beds very comfy and would have been changed,along with towels,every 3 days.which was fine for us.The pool was lovely and clean as was around the pool area.Sunbeds we’re always taken quite early though,so need to get one fast if wanting a pool day.We we’re given free towels to use for the pool and had to pay 5 euros refundable deposit if taking them to the beach.We didn’t eat or drink at this hotel so can’t comment about that.We can not fault this hotel and were so pleased we stayed here.After a two year wait to travel and having to change bookings several times,we were not disappointed.
