2-Star Hotels in Raleigh

The front desk staff are always very friendly whenever I come to stay. Housekeeping tends to open my door before I can answer to their knock, they barely give me any time to respond before barging in. On my last day, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am and proceeded to come on with little to no time to respond. Checkout wasn’t until 11-12 so I don’t understand why they had even come that early. The cleanliness of this hotel is always a hit or miss. My last stay, I noticed that there were orange stains all over the bedding and I didn’t notice until after I’d already slept in the bed.

I enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.

Can't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot.

If I could give this location a negative 5 if I would. Please do not stay here people. FAIR WARNING This was the worst experience I've had in a hotel motel or nay kind of Inn. stayed at Red Roof for Dreamville in early April and this was the only ”affordable place.” As I look at the current prices per day I see that due to the event, prices were gouged by a large margin. That's not the surprise. This place was infested with roaches and ants. There was rust and peeling paint in numerous locations in the room and sounds coming from the lights. There were serious smells coming from the room like mildew or old over used furniture. The photos in the advertisement are FALSE and give the appearance of something better than it is. I have photos and videos in which i will post if this issue is not resolved. The staff was not present the whole weekend until Monday morning when I checked out and had to fly back home. As someone who has worked in hospitality and hotels for 15 years a full refund should have been offered but instead a very low and unacceptable one was offered. When I refused all communication from their end stopped and I was forced to battle this with my bank. Please advise this company breaks its own policy and does not rectify the situations being made aware by the guest, paying to stay there. Please do not stay here people. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The manager came to my rescue, and ran off a person who was not a guest, but was trying to make me get him a job with my company. They also allowed me to store my travel chest after check out, while at my last day of the convention. Since I had temperature sensitive items in the chest. But the hotel was not good. First thing, we paid extra for early check in. Only to get a room with a huge hole in the wall next to the door. The manager was aware of it, but nothing was done. So we paid extra for a defective room. The bathroom was kinda gross. Built up grime and mold on the walls and floors. The Roaches we saw running around, was an issue.

My husband and I had a great stay. So we stayed a 2nd night. Very safe close to a wal mart and places to eat. The beds are very comfortable and thebroom was very clean. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for a safe and quite stay.

One of my favorite hotels in Raleigh $50 deposit no bugs no loud people outside. It’s a very chill spot right beside Denny’s and Bahama breeze.

We stayed there for a night and we loved it! The lady at the front desk was friendly, kind and funny! We shared a few laughs! The room was super big and it had everything! The King size bed was incredibly comfy and we rested and slept like babies. Breakfast was yummy. It had a lot of everything. Hot bacon, yummy potatoes, scrambled eggs, cereals, different types of bagels and bread, jams and cream cheese, waffles, fruit, juices, milk, chocolate milk, yogurt, coffee, tea… and Michelle was lovely! She kept cooking yummy food and asking everyone if there was anything we needed or wanted. Thank you Michelle!! The hotel has a heated pool but we tried going twice and it was packed with families and children so we couldn’t bother. Excellent location and free parking. Highly recommended!!!

We only had one night at the Fairfield but it was wonderful. The highlight was breakfast: Luisa & Claudia we're so helpful and made sure everything was refilled (despite the huge morning rush) and they were so sweet to our kids. I don't think I've ever met nicer staff than them!
