The hotel is pretty far from Quito's center but its worthwhile coming up here for a day. The rooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the furnishings are minimal but elegant. Customer service is great. But what sets the hotel apart are the rooms (not all) that have huge windows overlooking the crater on one side, and the suburbs of Quito on the other side. Waking up and opening the curtains and having the view of the gorgeous verdant crater right below you is amazing. Highly recommended for a quick city escape. Prices are fair for what it is. Would be much higher in other countries.

Excelente servicio. Tienes sus mejores vistas a pesar de la neblina Recomendado 100%. La comida es muy buena la atención de los empleados es muy buena también y los cuartos muy limpios los baños limpios un buen lugar para pasar en familia y con su pareja

Everything is amazing about El Crater. We stayed in the Pululahua Suite. We had a beautiful view of the crater from the back of the room and the garden from the front. The staff is attentive and on point. No detail was missed. The food was exceptional, & the staff always made sure we had our dinner before closing the kitchen on their slow nights. The spa is beautiful. Excellent massage! The nature reserve is within walking distance, & worth it. There's also the Templo del Sol right around the corner. Highly recommend!

We stayed here when we arrived in Ecuador and found it a real oasis in a very busy city. Rooms are huge (but could have used more storage space) and you feel very isolated from the noise of the city. The middle of the world is only a few minutes in a taxi and there is a good spa and restaurant too. Walls are a bit thin and we were kept awake one night by some rude guests downstairs but they left the next day. Not cheap but other than that no complaints

Están ubicados en un sitio privilegiada, una vista hermosa, la arquitectura es muy buena, sin embargo no cuidan mucho sus instalaciones, en la habitación se ve descuidada, tenían algunos focos que no funcionan, al ir a un mirador se puede ver la cocina que estaba muy desordenada y se notaba sucia incluso en los electrodomésticos. Su buscan descansar no es el sitio ideal, las cortinas son translúcidas y permite entrar toda la luz en la mañana desde temprano pero peor aún en la noche se puede ver desde afuera hacia adentro de la habitación, el colchón es extremadamente duro y no permite el descanso. El spa es super lindo pero una de las personas que atendía tenía su uniforme sucio y en el spa no estaba limpio los baños y un baño no funcionaba el seguro de la puerta. Es demasiado caro para lo que ofrecen como experiencia.

Una experiencia espectacular para celebrar el aniversario. Tienen la mejor vista del cráter del Pululahua y de San Antonio de Pichincha en las habitaciones. Los platos del restaurante super especiales y deliciosos. El spa y el jacuzzi me gustaron mucho y el complemento de las frutas y el tinto de verano te llevan a una experiencia de relajación espectacular. Recomendaría una piscina sinfín por la vista privilegiada que tienen.

Excellent views and location. It’s not far from a main road and within walking distance of a nice overlook. We booked the anniversary package and stayed in a room on the top floor. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is a little outdated but hot water and good pressure. They also had small space heaters if desired at night. Staff was pleasant. Dining staff was attentive. Breakfast was average.

Un établissement vraiment sympathique. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, le sens du service, le désir de bien faire. Les chambres sont vastes, les SdB datent, mais sont fonctionnelles. Pour le prix, on ne va pas se plaindre ;-) Parking facile et garantit.
