The whole hotel is actually an independent community, with villas, studios, and apartments. Parking is free, the environment is very good, very quiet, and a good place for vacation.

Silkari Lagoons is an excellent choice to stay in Port Douglas. Beautiful common area with two fully equipped BBQs, clean pools with Spa jets. Nice service by friendly people. Big rooms with cooking facilities, cutlery, glassware, balcony.

The hotel is very far away. In Douglas Town, we went to Cairns by boat for an hour. I am a Platinum Member of Marriott. Sheraton gave me a wine and it was said that the room type was upgraded. The hotel facilities are good, the scenery is very beautiful, the swimming pool is very large, parking is free, and there are golf courses, but the hotel is located in a tropical rain forest, there are a lot of bugs, and there are cockroaches and small flying insects everywhere in the corridor. It will be stinging, the room is still quite large, and the bathroom is also large. If the hotel can pay attention to cleanliness, the business should be better, which is not comparable to the Gold Coast Sheraton. Nice looking resort but too noisy & enclosed environment.. Rooms were very small for price of room. We ended cancelling 2 extra nights because it was not accommodating for couples & staff weren't really interested. Too many children in pool area &was not at all relaxing environment. Quite disappointed as we have stayed at much nicer resorts for less money.

We had a great time in Coconut Grove. In such special period, we felt lucky that we found such great apartment and very nice staff. We will come back again.
