I stayed here on a solo motorcycle trip. It was helpful that there was a garage. If you just plan on staying there to sleep, you can stay here comfortably.

We were able to park the car in a covered garage-like area, which was great because in winter in Hokkaido, snow piles up overnight and you have to clear the snow from around your car the next morning, but this was great because there was no need to worry about that. A walkway-like passageway connects the garage to the room, so it's nice to be able to get to the car without having to worry about snow or rain.
I think the ceramic heater in the room is a little underpowered. However, kerosene fan heaters and stoves are difficult to use due to safety concerns.
As for the location, it was conveniently located close to both Otaru and Sapporo.

This was my third time staying here. The room on the second floor this time was a Japanese-style room in the attic that made me feel like a child again. It was a combination of tatami mats and futons, but I was able to relax and enjoy it very much (*^^*)
There was a window, so I was able to feel free, and I was able to spend a quiet and relaxing time.
As always, the futons and other amenities are provided, and the shared spaces and bathrooms are clean, so I feel at ease. I felt that it would be even more convenient if there was a box of tissues in the room.
