The hotel did not live up to expectations. For 3 weeks of travel, the most expensive hotel. The double rooms are small, there is no refrigerator. The view from the balcony is sad. Look at the wall of small trees. We were upgraded to a family room at no additional charge. They are large, located closer to the restaurant and the view is accordingly not of the forest, but as if higher, because... The restaurant and main building are located on a hill. The further the room is from the restaurant, the lower the house and the less view. We went to the pool near the restaurant, the water was warm. We took dinner for 500 US dollars per person. Dinner buffet without drinks. It is very dark at dinner, the lamps on the table are very dim. You can't see what you're eating. The dinner is delicious, but still very expensive for Namibia.

nette bungalows mit shuttlefahrzeug erreichbar(macht spass,kann man aber auch zu fuss leicht erreichen.terrasse ist riesengross,herrlicher ausblick beim sonnenuntergang.essen in buffetform lässt keine wünsche offen.am morgen wurde ich beim frühstück mit gesang und torte von personal überrascht(73 geburtstag)

Mooie huisjes/tenten. Goed uitgerust! Centraal deel rond zwembad en restaurant was kleurrijk en gezellig. Al de medewerkers waren vrolijk en de muzikanten zorgden voor nog wat extra gezelligheid. Het was wel een hele expeditie van de huisjes naar de centrale voorzieningen. Hadden we meteen onze hike gehad! Fit kamp ligt op 15 kilometer van de Andersongate van Etosha.

I had a mixed stay at Etosha Safari Lodge. First, the high- the sundowner deck is just incredible- an amazing view of the sunset over the valley while you enjoy a sundowner drink. This is the highlight of staying there. My advice is to go early as the deck fills up very fast. Then the rooms- reasonably comfortable, self standing room, with good furnishing. The bathroom is a bit dated and it is a combo shower/sink area so that leads to a wet floor after shower. Then, the lows- the food. Compared to the other lodges I stayed at during the visit, this was bottom of the barrel. Starting with dinner, served in a buffet style- there was no grill like other lodges and we were treated to overcooked meat stew, a precooked pile of meat and vegetables, an ok salad bar, and unexciting desserts. I was hoping breakfast would be better- but it wasn't- no egg station- just scrambled eggs (possibly powdered?), terrible coffee, even the sausage in the buffet was ruined with a sweet sauce. This hotel is really designed for tour groups, not for independent travelers- hence, I would give this a pass - with the exception of the sunset view.

The Lodge was lovely with lots of room for relaxing and eating. Chalets very comfortable and loved the elephant wall lights. However, because it is so large we found it a bit noisy and crowded. All the meals were buffet-style and not of a fantastic standard. Horses for courses but not to our taste.

Schönes Hotel 10 km vor dem Eingang zum Park. Sehr gutes Essen am Morgen und abend. Tolle sundowner Terrasse. Das Personal ist nicht so motiviert, aber ok. Die Zimmer sind in zum Teil abseits gelegenen Hütten. Zimmer mit gutem Moskitonetz, wenn auch nicht mehr an allen Stellen heile. Ansprechend wenn auch etwas dunkel eingerichtet. Schönes Badezimmer und insgesamt sauber.

Das Hotel setzt vor allem auf Masse, hier steigen sehr viele Gruppen ab. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ok, das Essen (Buffet) ist allerdings voll auf Masse ausgerichtet und höchstens Durchschnitt. Immerhin liegt das Hotel nahe am Gate zum Etosha und hat daher eine sehr gute Lage

The Etosha Safari lodge is one of the closest lodges to the main gate of Etosha National Park and therefore very convenient for game drives into the park. We arrived from Damaraland mid afternoon and decided to take a tour of the Eldorado enclosure (with cheetahs, leopards, lions etc), which is recommendable. The Etosha Safari logde is laid out with individual bungalows, all with individual and beatiful views over the savannah stretching out from the park. The bungalows are nice and of higher quality than similar bungalows we experienced in Namibia. Further the restaurant patio with a beatiful sundeck is amazing. The evening buffet as well as the breakfast buffet was just a notch above the similar buffets we tried around Namibia.

The location and surrounding was as amazing as the lodge itself. The rooms are well designed and the personnel of the lodge was very kind.
