Very intimate ryokan with private thermal bath. A lovely experience cut out from the world. don't hesitate if you want to experience this luxury Japanese experience. The hotel is very far away from the train, if you want to have some time to relax don't spend too much time in Nikko's temples

日光湯元温泉の奥にあるこじんまりとした落ち着いたお宿で、各部屋に温泉がついています。大浴場は22:00まで貸切になります。 お湯は硫黄泉で誰も入っていない状態だと無色透明ですが、人が入ると白く濁ります。お部屋の温泉はとても熱いので加水したり湯もみをしてからじゃないと入れません。洋服を着ているうちに温度調整しないと、裸で右往左往することになるのでご注意を。大浴場は今年２月に露天風呂が新設されたそうで、とても綺麗です。森に向かって眺めも良く開放感がありとても気持ちがいいですが、夏はどうしても虫が多くいるので、息子たちは虫と格闘もしたそうです。 食事は文句なく美味しく、全てが良かったです。鮎も柔らかくて美味しく、しゃぶしゃぶのお肉も野菜もとても美味しかったです。器もとても綺麗でした。 お部屋の冷蔵庫に入っている飲み物は無料でいただけ、ラウンジではコーヒーもいただけます。 私たちが宿泊した時は、ご年配のご夫婦が多く宿泊されていました。 ゆっくり、のんびりするには最高のお宿と思います。

結婚記念日に毎年行っています。 夫婦で温泉好きなのでのんびりと温泉に入って、美味しいご飯食べて、美味しいお酒を飲むことができ、1年に1回ご褒美として利用しています。 騒がしくなく大人の時間を楽しむことができるのでおすすめです。

奥日光は初めての訪問でしたが、自然豊かで静かな場所。リラックスするのに最適だと思います。その中で、今回宿泊のゆの森、高級旅館、ホテルではないですが、それに匹敵する雰囲気とサービスを有す快適に過ごせる宿でした。内外装は周囲の自然に溶け込んで落ち着きあります。部屋にあるかけ流しの温泉は、これだけでも宿泊経験してみる価値ありです。さらに、貸し切りの大風呂は家族で楽しむことできます。(できれば、二つの露天ですが、一つは屋根付き、一つは屋根なし、こちらも屋根あると良いと思いましたが。宿泊した日が雨だったので)。食事も日光の地場の素材を上手く利用され、満足いくものでした。部屋数も少なく設定されているので、静かに過ごされたい大人の方に向いていると思います。

8月に2泊しました。まさに「大人の隠れ家」と呼ぶべき宿で、大変居心地の良い滞在でした。 部屋については、広さ、インテリア、備品、消耗品全て申し分ありませんでした。 料理については、料理が供される器のセンスも良く、夕朝食共に大変美味でした。ただし、量的に少し不満を感じる人がいるかもしれません。（特に夕食については、もう1品欲しいところ） 特筆すべきは、パブリックスペースの居心地の良さです。食堂やラウンジのインテリア（特に照明器具）のセンスが良く、ラウンジのロッキングチェアは、湯上がりのひとときを過ごすのに最高の場所でした。 改善をお願いしたいのは、大浴場露天風呂のお湯の熱さです。源泉掛け流しゆえ、致し方ないのかもしれませんが、熱過ぎて一瞬しか入浴できませんでした。水で湯温を調整できるようにした方が良いと思います。 とはいえ、またぜひ宿泊したいと思わせるお勧めの宿です。
