Hotels near Northwest Coast Scenic Area (Waiao), New Taipei City

We stayed from 7/22 - 25 and in room 1329. The view from the room of the sea was great. Overall service was great. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I have just one issue - Breakfast. The breakfast buffet every morning was the same and that was a let down. We had three breakfasts and everyday it was the same. Maybe look into that as no guest that stays in your hotel wants to eat the same food for breakfast everyday.

This place is very neat and brand new,, Clean and very nice view of mountains. The view was excellent! We hailed a cab to get there from the airport,but the driver got lost even with GPS. Since Jiufen is located on high mountains with very narrow roads, we felt a bit car sick from 1 hour and 30 minutes of the ride at the end. We, however found out the hotel was actually located on very convenient and easy to get by next day! The outside spa was not that clean, neither even was not warm enough to get in, the weather there was very cold! The breakfast was worthy to have, because around there no place to eat unless you take a ride to get down to Old Street place. We felt a bit chilly inside of the room, it could be the cold weather at this time ( in March?) One thing very odd was the length of the bed in the master room, even for me my feet could touched the end of the bed!( i am 5’2”.) Overall not bad, liked their clean and staff were very friendly. If you got bed knees, watch out those enormous steps every other corners!

The proprietress took us to understand the facilities in the room very intimately. The whole room is really super cute and very European style, which will stir the girl's heart! The number of pings in the room is very large, the sea is outside the window, and the cat will be seen walking outside. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The temperature and water volume of the water are also enough. There is no TV in the room. You can enjoy nine copies. The layout of the public space is also very warm. There are free tea bags and water and many books to see. The outdoor cats are also super loved ones and cute. Will come knocking on the door ～ It's really suitable for people who like small animals or want to experience nine copies! The only minor drawback is that the room may be made of wood floors, so someone walking around will hear it very clearly. People who sleep lightly like me can wear earplugs, which will be better. ～ There is a small road in the middle of the hotel to the parking lot that can go down. It will go to the main road. Then there will be a trail to the left. It can lead to the main road in front of the old street. The distance is about 12 minutes. There are street lights at night. You can save parking fees and exercise.💪

The B&B is in a great location, very close to Jiufen Old Street, and provides free pick-up service from the B&B to Jiufen Old Street. It is also very close to the Golden Waterfall and the Gold Museum, within 5-10 minutes by car, and free tickets to the Gold Museum are provided. Because the B&B is on the mountain, the scenery is very beautiful. The owner and the lady boss of the B&B are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast is good. The room is very clean and hygienic.

The stay was excellent! Absolutely loved it! It was very near the main jiu fen street (just about a 3min walk) and the staff members were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat. The common areas are so beautifully decorated and there's plenty of space. I love how they prioritised this and not just turn everything into bedrooms. Very thoughtful of them. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. You get porridge with a variety of dishes to go along with. They also have bread with butter/jam available. The stay is located on top a flight of stairs. Our group traveled as a family with 2 senior citizens and the flight of stairs were a little tiring for them. Do take note if you're taveling with those who are older or have difficulties walking. It isn't too bad, but can definitely be tricky for some. Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay. This place is one of the prettiest out of the rest we scouted for jiu fen as well. It's a good pick and I would stay here again if I were to come back to jiu fen. Hope you find this helpful! Cheers!

The location is very good, really close to the old street! If you want to walk to the B&B, you can walk in from the road next to Seven, turn around when you meet the Kokonoe B&B and you will be there. The dehumidifier in the room is great, and the bathroom is simple. Although there is no dry and wet separation, it does not affect the comfort of use~

We walked in from Jiufen Old Street, which took about 20 minutes. When we came out of the B&B, we were near a great viewing platform with sea view. It was pretty good👍The interior of the room was similar to the one in the picture. Personally, I liked the small living room/bathroom and bed. There are curtains in the middle, which makes it easy to sleep when you close them at night. The bathroom and toilet facilities are average, the air conditioning is very strong, and the sound insulation is not very good. You can hear the voices in the next room, but it’s okay because the next room went to bed earlier than us🤣The lady at the counter is very kind

Not the easiest to locate. Check in is done such that you have to WhatsApp the owners/staff before they come by to meet you. There is no counter. However they respond promptly and quickly come to pick up your luggages and bring you to the room. They are very friendly too. Unit is two stories, beautiful view from the upstairs room. Can use downstairs area to store luggages and upstairs has limited space.

The owner was very nice and the house was very clean. It was raining that day and our shoes got soaked, so he even used a shoe dryer to dry them for us.

The location is easy to find, right in the old city. Check in on the 3rd floor of the building. The stairs are a little steep. Not suitable for people with large suitcases. The room is spacious, has air conditioning, a hair dryer, and a very large fan. But the room is not soundproof, you can hear the sound of the next room all the time.
