Popular Lijiang 4-star Hotels

So far this is the Atour I liked the least. The room was alright but the toilet had a cigarette smell. The breakfast was my least favorite out of all the hotels I’ve been to in China. As for the good stuff, the hotel is across the street from the Ancient City west entrance (big water wheel), the 101 bus stop to/from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is across the street as well. The Dragon Pool is very close by too. Location wise, it’s probably the best you can get.

What a pleasant stay, breathtaking scenery and spectacular food options! The hotel is not that close to the airport, however it does make for a quieter stay. It’s located close to most attractions and restaurants which is a major plus. The staff are definitely welcoming and the hotel for sure foreign friendly. This was my 3rd time staying in this chain and I have to say everything was in place. The carpets, bedding, linens and couches were clean. I was surprised by how spacious our room was for the price I paid. The food was delicious for sure and as usual you had plenty to choose from. If I was to nitpick, maybe the cutlery and milk could more often be topped up, and the shower door was leaking slightly but this is just me being a ‘Karen’. WHope you all also have a wonderful stay here too.

I stayed at Lijang YueJiaren•White Horse Luxury Homestay for two nights. Pre request for the best view of the lijang and yulong snow mountain. Upon arrival, there is a bit difficult for communication because I don't have a China mobile phone. We couldn't find the hotel, we asked for help from one of the hotel, and they came to pick us up and carried our luggage for us. After we arrived, we got the best view of lijang and yulong snow mountain, we have been served with tea; additional arranged dai Shan as our tour guide. He showed us the ancient city, helping us for photography and planning our trip. The other staff also helped my friend with her luggage arrangement for the return flight. They are serving us nicely. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if you ever go to Lijang. P.S. The rooftop is one of the best spots for photoshoot.

I was really worried that the online celebrity shop would be very ordinary. I checked a lot of guides and surrounding homestays on the Internet, and finally chose this one. The experience of staying there was really good. It was my favorite inn on this trip. All the staff had uniforms, and I liked their vests very much [grin]. We came by taxi and contacted them in advance. They also had a shuttle bus to take the luggage. In the off-season, we were upgraded to a room. The room was very large with 68 square meters. The parent-child room had two large beds, a living room, and a bathtub. It was very quiet at night. There is a very beautiful garden in the inn, as if Alice in Wonderland. During the stay, I also met a wedding reception, which is enough to show how beautiful his home is. The nearby Mangosteen Coffee and Muyu Ruins Restaurant are also theirs. The hotel gave Mangosteen Coffee afternoon tea and Muyu discount coupons. Mangosteen Coffee is really suitable for lazy people to lie flat on the tour. After putting down the luggage and visiting Shuhe Ancient Town, I lay down in Mangosteen Coffee to drink afternoon tea and brush my phone to kill time. For dinner, I walked 2 steps to the Muyu Ruins Restaurant next door. When I left the store, I also gave a black tea souvenir.

I really liked this hotel. Room was lovely and beautiful and a nice cute walk into the old city. We had so many bags and they came with a little cart to carry them for us. Also because we stayed many nights they took us for free to the airport. We would totally stay here again. Now that said I had 1 problem. We were here in summer and it got quite hot in the room. We were on the top floor and the sun hit the roof and really heated things up. I couldn’t get it cold enough to be comfortable even with the air conditioner. In the future I would choose a room not on the top floor or only visit this hotel in non-summer months. Otherwise it was perfect!

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

Bivou is a gem in Yunnan. The service staff are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel like you’re at home. I was assigned a room surrounded by greenery, and the feeling when you look out the windows was amazing especially when it rains. They maintain the space very well and there were no bugs in the room despite all the plants outside. They have in house activities if you wish to have a rest day from the touristy stuff. Food was delicious too - I think they use the produce that they plant themselves so it’s very fresh. South East Asians would be glad to know there’s kaya and milo available for breakfast! I couldn’t catch everyone’s names but big shout out to all the hardworking staff there including Xuexue, May and Layla for making my stay so lovely.

The hotel is located in the old city in a short distance from the exit to the new city.It was convenient for the bus parking and to deliver the luggage to the hotel.There is quite big supermarket across the street in the new city. There is also a lovely restaurant of delicious food just across the street there.Higgly recommend!!The hotel breakfast is simple,but nice= porridge,spicy sauce, pancakes,tea, watermelon If you decide to have some tea in the afternoon,the reception boys will make a tea ceremony for you right there..in the company of an absolutely gorgeous dog who is more than friendly and greets everyone!! Отель находится в старом городе недалеко от выхода в новый= удобно для парковки автобуса и доставки багажа в отель.Прямо через дорогу в новом городе = довольно большой супермаркет и чудесный ресторан с отличной кухней.Очень рекомендую!! Завтрак в отеле довольно простой,но вкусный: можно заказать кашу= суп,выбрать острый соус по вкусу,у нас был арбуз,блинчики,чай.Если кто-то захочет чай днём,то гостеприимные ребята с ресепшн устроят вам чайную церемонию прямо в ресепшн, в компании роскошного пса,который более,чем дружелюбно приветствует всех входящих в отель...

The first B&B I stayed in when I flew to Lijiang The B&B is well managed. It is a butler service. We were sent the service items a few days in advance There are airport pick-up/travel photo experience or spa, and the free breakfast with two meals is also super rich, one for each person. You can choose Chinese/Western/Naxi characteristics, and breakfast is served all day, which means it can basically be eaten as a full meal In addition, an afternoon tea set is also given, which is also very rich. We basically ate enough with free meals for two days In addition, the location and environment of the hotel are really nothing to say. It is right opposite the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Although the weather was not good when we went there, we also saw a good sunrise We chose the airport pick-up and travel photo experience, which were also very good. The master waited at the airport more than an hour in advance. The travel photo makeup and photography skills are good, and I am very satisfied with the photos In addition, the drinks in the Snow Mountain Restaurant are free!! Coffee, tea, etc. are all free to drink as many times as you like, which is great. The service attitude is also good, and they upgraded our room. The view is unbeatable and the experience is beyond expectations. If I have to say something, it is that the sound insulation in the room is a little worse, and the decoration of the room is relatively simple, but the flaws are not enough to hide the merits. It is a homestay worth recommending.

The views from this hotel are amazing and it's worth staying in this hotel just for the views. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only negative about the room was that it smelt horribly of cigarette smoke - we were there for three nights and it didn’t go away during that time. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable (although a bit harder than we're used to - normal for China though). The young lady who works there (花花 ) was very helpful and kind - she arranged to buy some coffee for us on the first day (as they don’t serve it). She also offered to make us some sandwiches for breakfast if we didn’t like the Chinese breakfast (we did like it, so we declined the offer of sandwiches). After we left she sent us a recommendation for a very reasonably priced but high end restaurant in Baisha which we really enjoyed - by far the best restaurant we've been to so far in our travels in China. We would never have found it without 花花's help as it wasn't in the touristy area of Baisha.
