"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Ningxia Museum. The rooms are spacious with a smart layout, and the bathroom is particularly large. This time, I booked an Executive King Room, and the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour was exquisite and delicious. From the high floor, the panoramic view of Yinchuan city was incredible. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, with many Ningxia local specialties, and the service is very attentive. The Baicao Lamb Hotpot on the third floor of the hotel is absolutely delicious and a must-try. All in all, the JW Marriott Hotel Yinchuan comes highly recommended!"

"This hotel is very stylish. There's a large dressing mirror right after entering the room, which is especially convenient for someone like me who takes photos eight times every ten minutes [grin][grin][grin]. It's also very clean. If I had a photo of myself, I'd have put two of them in there (they're so photogenic). The room size is exactly the 40 square meters advertised online, which was perfectly adequate for a family of three. There's a small sofa, which the kids really love. What I love most is that it's not fully carpeted; only around the bed, the floor is otherwise, which makes it feel very clean.
The service at this hotel is also a key factor that compels me to review it. I arranged a pick-up at the station two days before check-in, and the driver called me half an hour before arrival. The driver was a woman, but she was very steady and had excellent driving skills [strong].
The front desk staff was very friendly and proactive in checking us in. Later, when we were leaving, we had to check out later due to our schedule, and the lady was very helpful in extending our stay for free. Overall, this stay was a truly amazing experience! Highly recommended!"

I contacted the hotel beforehand and asked if it would be possible to get one king room and one twin room if a king was available, or if not, to put a safety rail on one of the twin beds since there was a child with us. To our surprise, when the hotel staff assigned the rooms, they not only gave us a king room but also upgraded us to a suite and arranged for connecting rooms – so thoughtful! "Highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton Zhongwei! Our stay was excellent.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get around and explore. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great, so we slept really well. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Overall, it's fantastic value for money. Check-out and invoicing were also very fast, and they even helped us register our license plate for free parking.
It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Zhongwei!"

"The newly opened hotel, the front desk girl Ma Xiaomei service is very good, warm and polite, and also sent a souvenir when checking out. In the middle of the way, I felt that the air conditioner was not cooled within five minutes. The room department came to three people to deal with it. Manager Mao was serious and handled quickly. I think the place that can be adjusted is that the breakfast is expensive, the air conditioner is too loud, and the decoration smell. Will visit again. Ningxia people who are away all year round come back to save their relatives, and I look forward to the better and better landmark hotels in my hometown!"

YangguangtubaobaoThe hotel facilities are all brand new and in perfect condition. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners, and the air was fresh with no strange odors. The guest room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hot water came out quickly and at a stable temperature, and the bathroom area was dry and tidy. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even giving us many boxes of Zhongwei硒砂瓜 to try. Check-in was very quick. The surrounding area is also quite convenient for getting around. As a new establishment, both the hardware and cleanliness are impeccable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both leisure travel and short stays, highly recommended. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

Overall, this hotel is quite worth staying at. I really liked the hotel's design, ambiance, and facilities, and the room was also good. I booked a room with a hot tub, and the cleanliness was excellent.
However, the service and management were clearly weak points. On the day of check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and the lobby, which isn't very large, was crowded. When we first arrived at the parking lot, there was only one older gentleman working, and it took a while to find someone to help with luggage, clearly indicating a staff shortage. During check-in, there wasn't much proactive information provided; staff only told me things after I asked. Compared to other hotels of similar standing I've stayed at before, there was a noticeable gap in service professionalism.
The restaurant gave a similar impression. The staff's attitude wasn't bad, but the service felt inexperienced. The food itself was generally mediocre, though the beef skewers at dinner were surprisingly delicious 😂. Interestingly, some of the older staff members around the hotel were very diligent, constantly cleaning and bustling about. So, my feeling after staying wasn't that there was an issue with staff attitude, but rather that the hotel's staffing, training, and management haven't kept up with its excellent facilities.
This is quite a shame because the hotel itself is really well-done.
What deserves special praise are the hotel's activities; the explanations were very thorough and professional, and this part of the experience was excellent. Coupled with the desert environment and the starry sky, I think it's still worth staying for those who come specifically to experience the desert.
If you only look at the design, room, cleanliness, and overall environment, I really like it. If the management and service professionalism can be improved later on, the overall hotel experience should be much better.

Traveller70nyWellness themed hotel with spacious rooms and very helpful staff. The surroundings are really nice including the river and several parks.
A few staff spoke good English and really helped this non-mandarin speaking guest a lot, especially to call taxis. The housekeeper on my level was also very sweet and friendly and efficient. Would happily stay there again.

Guest UserOur stay at Desert Diamond Hotel was truly excellent value for money! The room had an amazing view and was incredibly comfortable. The dining experience was consistently top-notch – a rich breakfast, exquisite dinner, and even heartwarming late-night snacks. The kids had an absolute blast from start to finish; the hotel's attention to detail truly caters to families. All the staff were warm and patient, and a special shout-out to our butler, Felix. He meticulously arranged our entire 3-day, 2-night itinerary, striking the perfect balance between activity and relaxation. He made sure both the kids' preferences and the adults' must-sees were covered, and he fulfilled almost every request we casually mentioned, showing incredible attention to detail. Next time we're in the desert, we're definitely coming back to this hotel and specifically asking for Felix!

The hotel lobby is huge and the room was clean. Their customer service was also impeccable. The front desk staff had shown that they are so willing to assist you in every way possible, right from the check-in.
When my wife was feeling unwell, they brought food up to the room for her. They then gave us complimentary breakfast (I’d booked a non-breakfast room) and even provided us with a free clothes wash and dry service as our WeChat could not be linked to the QR code.
The cleaning lady was also kind and was always asking us if we needed more toiletries.
I must say that the hotel staff made a huge difference in our hotel stay. Well done and thank you for your excellent service!

The room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.

Environment: It's connected to the Marriott, which gives it a grand feel. Breakfast is served at the Marriott and is very abundant. The hotpot on the third floor offers great service and delicious food (especially the baby cabbage, it has a milky flavor).
