Rae to find a place to accomodate 4 of us.
Boss get in touch with us before arrival so that we know where to check in. Friendly boss and help to get whatever additional items we nee din the room.
Location just outside old town south gate, very convenient and trolley provided if too many luggages for the uneven road to the hotel.
Recommend for those who do not want to stay in side old town

Being an international traveller and non-mandarin speaker it is little bit hard to communicate with the locals.But our host were so helpful eventhough with language barrier. We used wechat for communication purpose. They were so kind allowing my family and i to do early check-in.The room was ready and smell so good. All basic amenities were completed. The check out process was also quite in breeze.
Location wise, walking distance to lijiang old town(south gate).
For muslim travellers,has 2 muslims shops just cross the road.
Overall,nice experience with this stay! Thanks!

The place is conveniently located, with the old town in 2 min walking distance and big supermarkets and many restaurants close by. The two bedroom that we rented had everything we needed except for a table. It's great that a washing machine can be used

Not only did this place had a great location if you’re looking to leave for Tiger Leaping Gorge (from South Gate), the boss was extremely helpful and chill. When I couldn’t find the place (even using the provided address on GaoDe / Amap), the boss quickly sent me the location in WeChat and even upgraded my room just because of that minor inconvenience. It was fantastic price for a great room, comfy beds, and the best shower I’ve had in China. 5/5

Great hospitable family run inn. Clean and well provisioned with clean towels, toiletries and a daily refresh. Convenient location just outside the lijiang old city south gate and in 8 rivers village, with nearby good food ( Teochew, Guangdong and Zhejiang were our favourite places), laundry and convenience stores. Innkeeper gives good advice on places to go and makes practical and fair tour recommendations that aren't at an insane pace. Rooms have ventilation and heating options, day and night blinds. Power sockets work and are plentiful. There is no English TV. We stayed in the family room with 1 King, 2 double beds. There was enough space for everyone's luggage to be opened and still be able to walk around. There's a micro in the common kitchen if you need to reheat your food. We spent a week here as a family of 5. The toilet is good in that unlike other places, you don't wait a ling time for the hot water to show up. The toilet seat is warmed and there is an auto bidet. The place is well built with no rough edges.
