"Stayed here in end Aug where there wasn’t much snow cap on the mountains and a lot of clouds blocking the mountain peaks, but I’d say that the room view is still really nice because there’s sun, lake, mountain, clouds all in one! What we appreciated from this hotel: 1. The views: on day 1, we had afternoon tea (complimentary with our booking) and just enjoyed the view. We also tried to catch sunrise from our bed, and also enjoyed the view over complimentary breakfast at Level 1. 2. The service: this is the most supportive service we’ve ever had among all the hotels in China and other countries we have been to. - transport: They helped us to schedule complimentary pickup transfers from Lijiang train station to the hotel on our first day and from hotel to Lijiang Sanyi airport on our last day. - Taobao: They also helped me a lot with my many Taobao orders, across communicating with the delivery people, collecting (1x a day) from the collection point, returning some items as they weren’t fitting, applying for refund as my parcels still didn’t arrive on the last day etc. - other advice: getting used to higher altitude in Lijiang, how to use the washing machine & dryer, recovering from diarrhoea, whether we can still visit Lijiang Ancient City at night - other hotel items: gave us makeup remover and cotton pads when we had our photoshoot etc. - food: packed breakfast for us when we had day tours that started from 6am and asked us to pick our breakfast if we’re eating at hotel a day before. - housekeeping: they’d ask us if we’d like housekeeping when we waited for our didi to come. For the 6am day tours when reception wasn’t open yet, we texted them for help to tidy the room and we came back to a tidied room when we returned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super comprehensive service, we highly appreciated this. 3. Toilet: this toilet has a bidet! We were pleasantly surprised by this. While the area around the hotel is generally still developing, to which one of our Didi drivers said there was growing interest in real estate around the area, among the 3 hotels we stayed in Yunnan so far across Kunming, Dali and Lijiang, this is the best one we have had 😊"

"This is it! After countless disappointing Airbnb experiences, this Lijiang homestay completely changed my mind. It felt just like home, with a spacious bedroom, a washing machine, a Dyson hairdryer, a cozy sofa perfect for watching movies on the projector, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the moment you wake up… The breakfast was plentiful and well-balanced. "This inn is located at the North Gate of the ancient city, making parking very convenient. The owner even helps with luggage transfer from the parking lot. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the courtyard is perfect for enjoying tea or coffee. Upon arrival, we were immediately served fruit and tea, and the owner enthusiastically shared recommendations for local cuisine. Exploring the ancient city and finding good food was incredibly easy. The breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Probably the best service ever, we managed to get a clear view of the mountains.. the room us clean, very spacious, and also equipped with high tech (projector, marshall soundbars, dehumidifiers, led mirrors, motorised curtains).. we were greeted with welcome fruits, rose cake and tea.. and the homestay is very near shushe ancient town (very unique town and less crowded), its also easy to get halal or muslim food arnd here. They also provide free charter service to Baisha and Shushe town daily, and helped to carry our luggages. It was easy to communicate with them tok, fast reply anytime of the day via wechat, and most importantly its very easy to get didi to Jade mountain or anywhere. Definitely worth it. One of my best stay ever!"
