Tribute Portfolio Hotels in Kyoto

Lovely clean hotel a short walk (or free shuttle) to kyoto station). All was good. Very fast wifi and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast either downstairs or in the revolving restaurant. The only oddity was the swimming pool and gym which had restricted usage hours and required payment on top! Was not worth it and even if it was the unusual hours of operation made it unfeasible. Would stay again though unless I really needed the gym and pool.

More than my expectations. Best location that is exactly infront of kyoto station, there is a crossroad directly to hotel. Clean and all service is available. Ice dispenser, iron, microwave also available free. Washing machine available is some floor. Clean with best service, friendlystaffs. Howeverb,i did not try breakfast or food there as the shops was in access to buy such as 7-11 or others.

Loved that there is eel rice for breakfast!! Unlimited and delicious!! The location of the hotel is the best! It’s located in the center of shopping area kyoto! The only downside is that there is no parking space so we need to park our car at the nearest coin park (around 5mins walk) and it costs us 3000¥ per car! The rooms is pretty well designed and its clean and well maintained There is a bathtub in the bathroom so we get to soak our feet at night after all the shopping!

the location is great right within the city center. our room was large, and with a large bathroom. Kyoto station location offers a lot of eateries and shopping spots. Good food and great shopping experience.

Beautiful hotel, right in the shopping district, 5 min walking to Nishiki market very close to Gion, and the river just behind the hotel. The Onsen was Definitely one of the highlights in our trip, just what we needed after long walking day. The Roof bar is amazing with view and calm atmosphere I’m goanna definitely recommend this hotel

Room is big and clean. Check-in was fuss-free and location is about 8 mins walk from Kyoto Station. Room is impressive, there is an on-site laundromat which is very useful. There's also iron and ironing board as well as vending machines. We did not use the public bath nor read the many mangas (all in Japanese) there. Definitely will stay again if I return to Kyoto.

Perfect location in Kyoto and it’s just opposite of Kyoto Station. Tons of restaurants, cafe pick and go food in Kyoto Station and surrounding. The room size is decent.

This was my first trip to Kyoto and there are many options for hotels. I was having trouble deciding exactly where but Good Nature turned out to be an excellent choice because: 1. It's right downtown - a few minutes walk to two subway stops - you'll use the subway to get to good attractions like Inari, Nara, Kiyomizu 2. you are also within walking distance to Pontocho, Gion, Nishiki markets 3. There were 3 of us so we had 3 individual beds - in a standard room and despite this being 28m2 the layout of the room is very good. Of course, if you want the deluxe room it's much bigger but it will cost a lot more 4. Managed to score a trip.com 36% discount (for 5 nights) which was a no-brainer (we just got the room only) - pay for buffet breakfast if you must (plenty of Starbucks around if that's your thing) - I did book the first night separately direct through the hotel website though as the trip.com offer didn't extend for 6 nights 5. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and explained everything. 6. Buffet breakfast was a good selection of Western and Asian choices. The restaurant was very clean. The prosciutto was amazing!
