Location is 10/10 as it is linked to Takashimaya and on the main shopping street. The hotel is full of tourists, lifts are often busy. Breakfast is an average spread with small variation. The hotel staff is polite but not warm. Late checkout/early check in is chargeable

Location is probably the biggest plus for this hotel. Room is new and in good condition, with the basics included.
However, do note that the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or other toiletries due to their environmental policy (toothpaste on request). Also doesn't have body lotion
It's decent and sufficiently comfortable, but I expected more for the price.

I love how clean the hotel is. The interior room design and the advanced toilets were all brilliant. My family and I got the triple room (with 3 beds) and it did not feel cramped at all. The air conditioning and lighting as well as alarms could all be controlled through their iPad. They have daily room cleaning and metal bottles, tea bags, mugs, kettles and a blow dryer. The hotel is also in the downtown location, very convenient to get to popular places. Lastly I love how eco friendly the hotel seems. I am a person who loves to prioritize green. This hotel seems to as well. If I ever come back to Kyoto, I will choose this again.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to Gion, Shijo Dori shopping street, and Nishiki Market. There's also a direct passage from the hotel to Takashimaya. The breakfast was good. I'd definitely come back again.

This time, I stayed in a family room, which was very spacious with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The hotel's third floor connects directly to the Takashimaya next door, but note that the connecting bridge closes at 8 PM.
