I stayed at your hotel very late on March 1. First of all, the service of your hotel left a deep impression on me. From the reception to the room service, every employee showed a very high professionalism and warm and friendly attitude. Not only did they handle my check-in and check-out quickly and efficiently, but they also provided timely and thoughtful help when I encountered any problems. This nuanced service made me feel at home, greatly improving my stay experience, whether it is in the public area or the interior of the guest room, clean and orderly. The room was well equipped and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and bright, and I felt very comfortable and at ease during my stay. Especially in the current context of health and safety, the high standard cleaning work of your hotel undoubtedly provides great protection for guests, which makes me very satisfied with this stay experience.

Perfect
SSCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience!
Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe.
The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes.
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained.
Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out.
For the price, this homestay offered excellent value.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.
HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.
GGuest UserWhat an unique experience! Nothing could be more authentic than that! Our room is on the first floor right by the water. We saw many women rowing the gondola boats and serenading beautiful songs to their passengers. We came in a low season, so there wasn’t that much crowd. We could stroll around leisurely to take in all the beautiful sights that this place offers to us. The home stay is operated by a couples. They are so friendly, kind, and always eager to help out, especially the wife (Ms. Chan). The day when we left, she helped us getting a didi ride which is more cheaper than the one we hailed ourselves. The room we stayed in is very unique, it is not super big, but it is very clean and it has everything we needed for the night. All and all, I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.
HHeimi_123Our stay here was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the accommodation was very comfortable. My child loves baths, which was why we chose this place; the disposable plastic liners provided for the tub made us feel very safe and at ease. In the evenings, the owner even set out watermelon and other fruits in the lobby for everyone to enjoy freely. We'd sip tea, chat, and it was incredibly relaxing! Inside, there's a large alligator snapping turtle and three smaller turtles. My child absolutely loved repeatedly feeding watermelon to the alligator snapping turtle. When it was time to leave, my child didn't want to go! It was a truly wonderful trip, and I've attached some photos for reference.
FFentataThe room is clean, there is no smell, the elevator is fast and convenient to manage very well, no need to wait for a long time. I like the style of the hotel the most. Toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, hand sanitizer are orange flavors, and the price is high. Ctrip booked to enjoy upgrades, late check-out and other services. You can also do laundry and exercise.
3320218****I saw pictures of this guesthouse's beautiful courtyard online, and it was just as lovely in person. I really adored their cat; the owner said it's their mascot. It was super affectionate and stayed on me for a long time, not standoffish at all. I slept very well and left early in the morning to visit the scenic area, which I explored for three hours. The owner let me park my car in the free parking lot and even offered a shuttle service, which was very convenient.
GGuest UserI was underwhelmed by the Crowne Plaza. I stayed for work, but it was my birthday while I was there. I asked if they wanted to upgrade my room because it was my birthday, but they feigned that they didn't understand (I did use English). The room was OK, but the carpet was definitely not clean. It was quite warm while I was there but the air conditioner was not on as the room temperature never changed. I used the swimming pool one day. Although it looks super cool in the pictures with a big glass infinity corner, it was very much leaking. Inside the pool the tiles were falling off the edges - there was even a sign acknowledging this. On my birthday I went up for a massage. I had to go into the back to find a lady and she made like I was bothering her phone time. Then she was on the phone while giving me a massage. The massage itself was pretty much the lamest massage I have ever had in my whole life. She barely massaged my skin much less my muscles. Also, the lights were on full bright and there was no much, just the sounds coming from the weight room that was around the corner. The whole experience left me wishing I had just stayed in my room. I do understand that the massage place, although in the hotel, was not related to the hotel.
CChoySamanthaThe hotel is located within Zhouzhuang Old Town, making it convenient to visit nearby museums. If you enter the old town after 5 PM, you can avoid the entrance fee. The hotel is also situated next to a temple, but unfortunately, the temple is currently under renovation and not open to tourists.
One issue to note is the presence of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring insect repellent.
Zhouzhuang offers a stunning night view — highly recommended! Don’t miss the boat ride; it costs 220 yuan per ride and can accommodate up to 6 people, including infants.
GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you
GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
