A great hotel. Fabulous amenities. They really have thought of everything. Upon check in, we were served with hot towels; a nice touch, especially on a rainy day. We were also upgraded to a larger room with ample room for our family. This Lavende is located along Subway line 1, so very convenient for getting around with public transit. We mostly took DiDi (like Uber), and pretty inexpensive to get around to the old town pedestrian streets, especially with kids. The only thing is that the building is not exclusive to this hotel; it seems to be shared with a mix of businesses (and maybe residential?) However, it was very quiet and the elevator was pretty quick to get up to our high-floor room. We were at first concerned about security, but it wasn’t an issue in the end. Very safe and quiet. We also took advantage of the laundry room to wash and dry our clothes. They have separate washing and dryer machines, as well as detergent. All complementary. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful in planning our half-day trip to the Stone Forest. They recommended we buy our tickets at the park, which we did, and take the high-speed train to the Stone Forest town and then a DiDi, which we also did. Very quick and convenient. Highly recommend this hotel location & the hotel brand. Price is also very affordable. Very clean. Very comfortable stay.

Great Location - Hotel walking distance from MRT: Panjiawan Station exit: A (A exit without lift & escalator); you may go to exit: B if you caring huge luggage; Besides the hotel is Da Guan night market, which a lot of local food and the Morning market also walking distance from the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful; and very happy that when i'm booked this hotel it's was not included breakfast however due to we stayed at here 4 night they are offer free buffet breakfast. Definitely will stay here again. recommend

This hostel had the most beautiful courtyard with the biggest bougainvillea I've ever seen. Other than that, the location was great and the staff very helpful. The bathrooms were decent. The dorm was clean, but the furniture was a bit old, and parts of it were broken. There was a nail sticking out from the end of my bunk bed. There is no air conditioning, so the top bunk could get quite hot.

The room is well-equipped with wardrobes, tables and other furniture, the bed is very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness is tidy. The hotel's service attitude is particularly good, responsive, and thoughtful for customers, good reviews! It is recommended that the bathroom provide alcohol wipes for disinfection, which can be used to wipe the toilet seat.

The room is neat and clean, has no peculiar smell, and has complete basic facilities. The surrounding area is relatively quiet and not too noisy at night.

It's convenient for traveling. It's right at the subway entrance. There is a water dispenser in the aisle. It's very convenient if you want to drink hot water. The disadvantage is that the check-out time is 12 o'clock. Now many accommodation check-out times are 2:00 pm. The room is a bit small. Overall, it's okay. Yes, after all, the price is low, the environment is basically in the city center, and it is very convenient to go shopping by car.

Maybe the best Service that i have ever experienced . We have made a wechat group and the hotel stuff was always ready to reply every of my question, helped with locations in the city , even told me the location of H&M :) About the hotel: I SLEPT WELL (what is not usual in a hotel) The walls are thick so u never hear someone aisle. Bed is the perfect softness , mattresses are new, pillows too! The amenities of the hotel are in a very cool retro style. The Wai Mai ( food delivery) is very quick to this location. My overall experience of this hotel is five star ⭐️ I repeat again the most important thing that you need from a hotel is a good well rested night sleep and you get it here, i have stayed 8 nights ! Enjoy !

A hotel in a former broadcasting building, well decorated, good breakfast, good staff. However even though it’s quite close to a metro station and buses it feels out of the way, only two bus stops from XiaoxiMen. Large well equipped bright rooms. Incongruously it has an outstanding model of an ocean going steam powered clipper in the lobby, that would seem natural in Xiamen or Guangzhou, but it’s well worth a look.

It was my first time staying in this hotel for 5 nights. 20 to 25th August 2024. Every time I come to Kunming I stay at Sofitel Hotel but I will change my mind in future. I was pleasantly surprised that the this hotel service was very good. 1, warm welcome from the front desk receptionist, quick check-in and check-out. 2, the room staff is professional and smiling. 3. The warm service of the restaurant staff. @Amazingly, the hotel also offers a buffet breakfast and lunch, which are very rich and nutritious. All hotel staff are very warm every day,makes me feel at home. I’m sure I will choice again this hotel when I have business trip in Kunming.
