Find Hot Springs Hotels in Sendai

Pros: This is my second stay at one of the few urban hotels with hot springs. The transportation is convenient and the market is nearby. All the fun things to do are nearby The single room is large enough. Disadvantages: There are few seats for breakfast and the space is small. One person is assigned to sit in a seat for 4 people, and there are many people queuing behind. It is very embarrassing for one person to occupy a seat for 4 people, so I cannot finish my breakfast slowly and leisurely. A senior-looking person at the counter gave me a quick and simple mechanical check-in procedure when I checked in. There was no introduction to the facilities. He just handed me the instruction manual and read it myself. I felt that the service was very cold and there was no detailed explanation. Other counter staff were much more friendly. Will stay again if given the chance.

Great hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle). If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience. The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well. There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience. Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry. Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room. If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you. We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view. Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have no complain.

The hotel 🏨 is very comfortable. You have to take off your shoes when you enter, but it is really clean inside, cleaner than domestic bathhouses. The hot spring ♨️ is very refreshing. There is free ice cream. There is free supper after 9:30. The breakfast is a bit expensive so I didn’t eat it. The location is also okay. It is a bit far from Sendai Station, and there is a pedestrian street at the door, which is very good for shopping.

Perhaps the best hotel throughout my Tokyo - Tohoku trip. Comparatively spacious, staff speaks English well, the onsen spa is very affordable for guests, walking distance from Sendai station, hotel has unique 18th century European design, comfortable beds, good amenities. Only thing is that the onsen spa does not permit guests with tattoo, which can pose a bit of a problem in light of the free and open society nowadays. Perhaps the hotel can limit it to restricting only guests with ”tattoo sleeves” or something. Small cute little tattoos all over the body do not necessarily create a negative perception. I have 3 small tattoos on my body and I still went to the onsen nonetheless during non-peak hours, just to be respectful (I was all alone and would have left if it created discomfort for other guests). But love the hotel overall. Highly recommended.

I stayed on Saturdays and Sundays in September. There was no plan for the prefectural discount, and I think it was about 20,000 yen per night. You can drink after Chen Quinn at All-In-One Cruise. It was good to be able to drink alcohol at dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were set. I was able to spend a relaxing time while infection control was also taken.

Very clean & nice environment, good service like using washing machine free! Onsen area also spacious, breakfast extremely good. Booking through Trip.com was of better price than others. Highly recommend.

As someone who has already used Dormy Inn dozens of times, it is a hotel that hotel managers have a lot to learn from. Although it is not always large-scale, you can see the effort to prepare the service in every detail. In particular, breakfast is 1,300 yen, which is cheaper than other hotels, but it is prepared with just enough food, and although the hot spring is small, it is the best 3-star hotel.

Because my schedule was unclear, I made reservations for each night and was unable to get a non-smoking room, but when I called just before to inquire, I was able to stay in the same room for consecutive nights by downgrading the room. Therefore, I decided to cancel another hotel that I had booked for consecutive nights and stay here instead. The price was higher, but I'm glad I chose this one because of the ♨. Personally, I was happy to receive a complimentary lactic acid drink, but I drink it after a bath and before going to bed at night, so I thought it would have been better if it was provided in the evening.

I wanted to go to Akiho Onsen in OKU zashiki in Sendai once. It was the first impression that the old lobby was a large group for the inn, but it was very good to answer politely even if I asked anyone of the staff a little. The place for the meal was a very large venue in the form of a Viking, but there was a wagon for the elderly who were badly feet, and the old man and grandson pushed the wagon and smiled and looked at it. I became a smile. The bath was very good. I was tired and sleepy until the morning. I'm going to see you again in autumn

There are too many baths (tubs)!! ︎ Visited on Sunday for a day trip bath. *Reception until 14:30 There are changing rooms in two directions, and you can take a bath from each direction. The facility is very spacious and there are many open-air baths, so you can relax while moving around. Even if you have small children, you can move to various baths, so you can bathe without worrying about other customers. I liked that there were many bathtubs that were large enough for one person to monopolize. I'm satisfied with the sauna as well. The hair dryer was Panasonic. The view from the bath was wonderful, and there were lots of autumn leaves around, so I wanted to visit again during the autumn leaves season. You can use aupay (code payment).
