Xinghai Square is just a few steps away, making it super easy to feed the seagulls, enjoy the ocean breeze, and capture panoramic city views. The subway station is only about 1km away, an easy walk. The river view is fantastic, and the overall environment is quiet and elegant, a welcome escape from city noise. Their service truly won over this southerner! The front desk staff were so gentle and attentive. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, and an auntie even specially fried an egg for me on the spot – talk about attention to detail. The room was super spacious; we got upgraded to a river-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered such a healing view. It was roomy and comfortable. "My first time experiencing a space capsule was quite novel. Inside, you can enjoy the scenery on your own, and there's even ventilation, which is a nice touch. Free showers are included with check-in, and a nice steam bath makes for a great night's sleep. However, the soundproofing is only so-so, which is understandable. Cleanliness is average; there's only one toilet, but there's another shared one outside. They even give you a space-themed keychain upon check-out, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. Five stars."

The whole room is smart-enabled and comes with a capsule coffee machine. However, I'm not sure why the room only included one breakfast. Sunlight couldn't get into the room through the window, and during housekeeping, the bath towel was mixed up. I almost missed out on this hotel because Trip.com said no children were allowed, but I called to confirm, and they do allow children."
