"I booked my last night in Dalian here. **Location:** It's about a 600-meter walk from Zhongshan Square Station on Line 2, so transportation is quite convenient. There are many restaurants nearby; all three meals I had in Dalian were in this area. **Ambiance:** This place feels like a more youthful business express hotel. I heard it's a local Dalian chain. The decor looks a bit aged, but you can still see a retro, chic, artistic style. Some of the public areas are quite nicely done. **Service:** Overall good. The female receptionist spoke softly, and one of the supervisors seemed a bit boisterous, but they were very accommodating. They upgraded me to a room with a regular window and included breakfast. **Facilities:** The room was a bit small, but sufficient for one person. It was quite clean and had everything I needed. The water pressure for the shower was good, and they even provided complimentary toiletries. Overall, I'm satisfied. For just over 100 RMB, what more could you ask for? **Breakfast:** The restaurant environment is nice, and the variety meets basic needs, but the taste was just average. The steamed buns were a bit dry, and the corn was tough. I didn't see milk, fried eggs, or freshly made noodles, so I'm not sure if that's because I went later. If you have to pay extra for breakfast, I wouldn't really recommend it. **A few things I minded:** The room door didn't have a safety latch. I always believe that hotel reviews should be based on value for money. For this location, facilities, and service, it offers pretty good value at a hundred-yuan price point during this season."

"The views are absolutely stunning ☺️, easily comparable to other hotels with ocean views. The room is also very spacious, more than enough for three people in a double room. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and the subway station is just a four or five-minute walk away. In the evenings, on the way back to the hotel, you can also pop over to the nearby Venice Water Town for a stroll."

"Whenever I travel, I always choose Atour Hotels. Their overall quality control is consistently good, and the pillows are incredibly comfortable. There was a minor hiccup at first, but Atour's excellent service quickly resolved it. Plus, the robot delivering food with mobile screen mirroring is super convenient. I picked this Atour in Zhongshan District because of its fantastic location. It's within walking distance of a series of great restaurants like Zhenghuangqi, Xianshengsheng, Pinbailou, and Riyuesheng. It’s perfect – you can enjoy delicious food and then burn off some calories afterwards! The evenings in Dalian are wonderfully cool. Walking around, you can spot fresh cherries and try all sorts of local delights. Don't miss a ride on Tram 201 at Democracy Square either!"

"The location is fantastic, with a huge variety of dining options nearby. It's an easy walk to Zhongshan Square, and the Friendly Square C2 subway exit is literally just a minute away on foot. The hotel staff are all incredibly friendly and eager to help resolve any issues. The hotel is really popular, with a constant flow of guests coming and going every day; the elevators are always packed, and there are lots of tourists from Russia, Korea, and Japan. The rooms aren't brand new, but they're spacious enough and very comfortable. For a city like Dalian, where hotel prices are generally high, this place offers excellent value for money!"

"The location is incredibly convenient. Metro Line 2 takes you directly from the airport to the hotel, and once you exit from Gate C, you just turn a corner and you'll spot the large sign for Building 9. However, check-in isn't in Building 9 itself; it's in a separate orange-fronted room right next door. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it. It's completely within a residential complex, with both owner-occupiers and transient guests, and I imagine there might be long-term residents too. The ground floor on both sides is lined with all sorts of small shops, making the area incredibly lively and convenient for dining. It's about a 40-minute to an hour's walk to the International Yacht Marina. We stayed during the Davos conference from June 23rd-25th, 2026, and it didn't inconvenience us much; in fact, we even got to enjoy free metro rides all day on June 24th. The actual room size and the scenery depicted in the promotional photos were quite different; let's just say the photography was excellent. Overall, the cleanliness wasn't great. There were several bloodstains on the sheets, which we requested to be changed on the second day when the room was cleaned. The bathroom was quite small, and various towels looked unclean and very old. The shower gel and shampoo came in small bottles. Anyone particular about their bathing experience might find it inconvenient. The refrigerator was never plugged in, and when opened, it had a very unpleasant smell and was also dirty, causing food to take on strange odors. The range hood was also greasy. The hangers in the wardrobe were those flimsy wire ones, fine for summer clothes but not at all suitable for heavier coats in other seasons. The staff were pretty good. When booking, I made some common requests: a high floor, smoke-free room, away from the elevator, and a sofa in the warm, bright colors shown in the promotional pictures. The front desk staff arranged this in advance. During our stay, I messaged the 'little housekeeper' daily on WeChat to request room cleaning, and each time they said they would come in the afternoon. Since we went out in the morning and returned in the afternoon, we asked them to clean in the morning, which they always accommodated. Overall, the staff's service was OK, but since it's a homestay that opened in 2021, the facilities, equipment, and cleanliness/maintenance haven't kept up, so it really can't be judged by hotel standards. Oh, and the water heater worked great; hot water came out quickly with stable pressure, making showers very comfortable. Overall, feedback from friends visiting from out of town was positive, and the value for money was there. Even during Davos and the summer peak season, prices weren't inflated, which was very considerate and well-managed. There are pros and cons, and this is a completely objective review. I hope for improvements and might consider staying again in the future."

"This hotel near Zhongshan Square offers excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it. Here’s why: 1. The room space is incredibly generous, especially when compared to other hotels in the same price range. It's a really good room type. 2. The surrounding area is bustling with a fantastic variety of street food and restaurants. There are also many bubble tea shops, offering a comprehensive selection. You can find delicious food and all sorts of items just by crossing the street. 3. It's quite close to the Children's Park, which is a lovely spot to relax. Taking a walk there in the evening is very pleasant. 4. It's very close to all the attractions around Zhongshan, and you can reach most of them by taxi for just the starting fare. This makes it incredibly convenient. 5. Although the hotel doesn't have a free parking lot, it's great that they do have a few parking spots available. While it's first-come, first-served, finding a hotel with any parking spaces near Zhongshan is quite rare."

"Staying with kids was a fantastic experience! The room was super spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was fresh and odorless. The staff were really friendly and attentive to our little ones. It was also easy to get around and explore nearby attractions. All the toiletries we needed were provided, and the hot water was consistent. We felt so safe and comfortable, and the whole family was very satisfied!"
