"I had a wonderful stay at this hostel and was very impressed with everything.
My flight arrived quite late at night, and the front desk closes at midnight. However, a kind male staff member was there to welcome me and kindly explained everything I needed to know about the hostel. I’m very sorry that I didn’t ask for his name, but I truly appreciate his help and warm welcome, especially since I arrived late at night.
I especially want to thank him because his kindness and helpfulness really made me feel comfortable after arriving.
The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept very well. The hostel is also conveniently located within walking distance of Taipei Main Station MRT, which made getting around very easy.
The shower room and toilet are separated, but they are very close to each other, so it was not inconvenient at all.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and was very impressed with this hostel. Everything was perfect, and I would definitely be happy to stay here again ❤️"

"I stayed here recently and overall the room was really good—clean, comfortable bed, and I slept very well. The atmosphere at night was quiet, perfect for relaxing.
However, I felt a bit frustrated with the staff communication. I asked for the Wi-Fi name, but the staff only told me to use the username and password provided without actually telling me the Wi-Fi name. I had to ask several times and still didn’t get a clear answer, which was quite confusing and a bit annoying.
Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but it would be much better if the communication with guests was clearer."

"The location is great, very close to Taipei MRT station, and the area around the hotel is lively. The hotel's interior is very neat and clean, and the room was also spotless. However, when I checked in, the owner told me I'd have a bottom bunk, but when I got to the room, it was actually a top bunk. Plus, the guest below seemed to be a long-term resident; their bed area was piled high with stuff, and they kept mumbling to themselves all night, which was a bit weird. So, I didn't sleep very soundly."

"The front desk staff provided excellent service, effortlessly recommending local dining options and attractions. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, offering charging stations, a comfortable common lounge, a water dispenser, and complimentary tea. The beds are comfortable and come with privacy curtains. What's more, they offer free luggage storage until 7 PM after check-out, which is incredibly convenient. While it's a bit of a walk from Taipei Main Station, it's manageable. Alternatively, Beimen MRT Station is just a 10-15 minute walk away."

"The dormitory rules are very detailed, and the staff explained them carefully. Most services are self-service, and any costs are paid by depositing money into a piggy bank.
The rooms and facilities are very clean. Self-cleaning equipment is provided, and guests seem to use it to keep things clean.
There's a hot spring nearby, and I was able to relax in a hot spring for the first time in a long time. The water quality is excellent, leaving my skin smooth."

A small and basic but very convenient hotel in the heart of the Songshan District, within a short (10 min) walk from the Nanjing-Fuxing Station. It's a bit dated, but everything works, so why fix what's not broken. Rooms are small but reasonable size. The rates were the most reasonable in the area for the March-April high season 2026 (I stay in central Taipei quite often and know the range). The staff are very friendly and helpful, some speak English.
IMPROVEMENT SUGGESTED: During my stay my room didn't have sufficient power outlets, there was no desk outlet for the laptop, the bedside power outlet was occupied by the night light. Adding a couple of outlets would make the stay more convenient. Aside from this I wouldn't change anything at this hotel, please keep it as is, and maintain the reasonable rates.

Chee Kieong LeongThe cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage.
Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests.
Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

Anonymous UserThe rooms are clean. You can use the hairdryer for free. There is also free mineral water and snacks every day. You can fill the water in the lobby too. There is a window, but it's not very big. It's close to Main Station, HSR Airport, and the bus station. You can walk there.
There are a lot of food stalls, and the prices are lower than in Ximending.

Joachim BergmannYes, it's charming. Friendly staff and cozy rooms create a welcome-atmosphere. The location is excellent - in a walking-distance to Songshan Station. Even Taipei 101 is only 1,5 km on foot away. Good to know: Should you book the breakfast option don't expect a breakfast buffet, but packed sandwiches or ban baos instead. Free coffee and soft drinks are being on offer 24/7. And the nearby night market caters all needs throughout the day anyway. Ubikes rental stations are plenty to start your bike adventures in Taipei. Simply begin at the nearby Rainbow Bridge and cycle along the Keelung River.

KLCloudWe had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.
The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei.
The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated.
Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

This hotel is very close to Taipei Main Station. The environment is clean and tidy, and although the facilities are basic, there's a sofa, which is acceptable for the price. The best part is the abundance of food options nearby, excellent transportation links, and it's just a few minutes from the MRT, making it very convenient and great for exploring. I originally booked a windowless room, but the hotel upgraded me to a room with a window, which made for an even more comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Guest UserThis is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market.
The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily.
The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.
I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet.
Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

LSYinMeworld Hotel has an excellent and convenient location, just a short walk from Taipei Main Station MRT Exit Z4. It’s especially convenient for travelers going to or coming from the airport, with easy access to transportation.
The room was reasonably clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The main drawback is that the soundproofing is not very good, so you can hear noise from outside the room.
Overall, it’s a practical choice for one-night stays, especially before or after a flight. The location and transportation convenience are the biggest highlights.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the MRT station, and there are several convenience stores right outside.
However, what I really need to complain about is the bizarre placement of the showerhead in the bathroom! You can't stand and shower comfortably, and the water inevitably sprays all over the toilet seat and toilet paper (even with the shower curtain drawn properly). Even more horrifying, the hot water is incredibly difficult to regulate; it suddenly blasts out scalding hot water (not just warm).
