I booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday, expecting a wonderful experience given the nearly 1,000 RMB per night price tag. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet those expectations.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by an unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet, likely due to drainage issues. Since I wasn't feeling well and was quite tired, I thought I could mask the smell with some perfume, as we were only staying for two nights.
While attempting to adjust the water temperature before my bath, I discovered something sticky under my foot when I was stepping on the towel. To my surprise, the tiles were loosen and adhered to my sole. I promptly reported this issue to the hotel via WeChat, and while I appreciated their prompt response offering to change our room, we opted to stay put since it was late and we only had one more night.
However, the situation worsened the following morning when we found a cockroach in our room! This was an experience I certainly did not expect, especially in a hotel at this price point.
Overall, I was deeply disappointed with our stay. The only redeeming quality of the hotel was its prime location. Unfortunately, the issues we encountered overshadowed any positives, and I feel the experience was not worth the price at all.
