Houei Ryokan

The Japanese-style room has three floors and no elevator. It is booked overseas nearly a month in advance. The store actually arranged to live on the third floor! The waiter helped to carry the suitcase upstairs. He was tired enough. The service three stars were given to him. Check out and climb the box. The room is not big, public toilets, public bathrooms, many years have not lived in rooms without separate toilets, bathroom baths must be reserved in advance, can be washed for half an hour. Sound insulation is not good, affecting sleep. Nearly 20,000 yen per night on weekends, I feel like I have been a big head, the facilities are old, fortunately it is still clean, maybe it is a cultural difference, it is indeed a different experience.
Hotel Riverge Akebono

It's a bit far to walk from the station, but it's not far enough to take a taxi. You'll arrive without any hesitation. All the necessary amenities are provided, but unfortunately there are no convenience stores nearby even if you would like to add some late-night snacks or drinks. The standard twin room was clean, spacious and comfortable. This may be due to the less crowded season, but it was nice to be able to use the hot springs. And as everyone has written, the buffet breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety and not too strong of a flavor. Breakfast is definitely recommended.
KAMENOI HOTEL FUKUI

Too expensive (opportunistic price hike) Following the prefectural resident discount, there is a national travel support program, but the price increase goes beyond what is intended, making it completely meaningless. Travel support discounts are a good deal because they are discounted from the previous price, but it seems like a scam to set the base accommodation fee so high in the first place. Moreover, even if you take advantage of the discount, if you stay overnight on Saturdays and Sundays, the total amount you pay will end up being higher. I used to stay here regularly because it was good value for money, but I probably won't stay here again. Perhaps due to a lack of manpower, the food service is sloppy and slow. There are plenty of options at other inns for the 10,000 yen range. In the first place, I don't know what the special feature is, it's an accommodation facility that just sleeps, so why do they set the price like this? As a result, major foreign-funded hotel chains are like this. I think that after public funds stop coming in, customers who are not stupid will choose accommodation facilities in the true sense of the word. At least I won't be using Kamenoi Hotel Fukui again in the future.
Hotel Keifuku Fukui Ekimae

Anyway, it is not convenient for station users. You can go without getting wet. The accommodation fee is cheap and good. The elevator is small and sometimes waits to avoid crowded or dense, but the front desk was very kind and comfortable. I noticed that there were many comics cartoons on the first floor when I checked out, and I was sorry that I couldn't read it.
Hotel Route-Inn Fukui Ekimae

This is about 2 minutes walk from Fukui Station, and if you go under the JR elevated, you can go without getting wet in the rain. There are almost two combinations and downtown in front of you. The hotel is new. The front desk was usually a good response. Free coffee can be served in the lobby. The room also comes in with a card key. The room is simple and smooth, the bed is large, the bed is large and the height is low, and I like it. Amenities and attached facilities in the room are not a rich hotel with a well-known color, but there is no security box. The meal had a good variety of side dishes in the Japanese style, and the restaurant was wide 々 relaxing and slowly delicious. The public bath was small and the hot water was warm but it was good to put it slowly. Amenities were jump, rinse, body soap, shaving cream and shaving. The sleeping clothes are Jinping. The feeling of the bed and the height of the pillow were personally suitable and I could sleep well until the morning. The network was free and stable with wi-hi and was able to use at a reasonable speed. Only Japanese guests met. All of the public baths, services and cost performance were high hotels.
Dormy Inn Premium Fukui Natural Hot Spring

Located in a downtown area about a 10-minute walk from Fukui Station, there are many one-way streets and crowded streets, and the road to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel is a bit difficult. Check-in is manned and payment is machine style. Have free coffee in the front lobby and go to your room. The room is a general Dormy Inn Standard, with a certain size and no feeling of oppression. There are about 30 lockers for the 9th floor large communal bath, 10 washrooms in the bathroom, an indoor bath and a sauna bath for about 7 people, and an open-air bath and a cherry blossom bath for about 4 people outside. Sakuragi along the Asuwa River seen from the bathroom window was in full bloom. Free ice cream and unreasonable lactic acid beverages are placed at the bathhouse by time of day. Breakfast was on the 1st floor, with Japanese and Western buffets, Echizen soba noodles, and local dishes such as Atsuage and Sesame Tofu from Eiheiji Temple. I was able to spend comfortably with stable Dormy Inn Standard, room, bath and breakfast.
