With so many people there for one reason - walking in the Yading National Park - breakfast had a base-camp feel, as people rushed to get to the mountain or the airport. The situation of the hotel is good just outside Shangri-la Town (and right next door to the hospital) It is convenient to get to the scenic area whilst staying at a relatively low height...altitude sickness being a risk at these heights. The room was cosy and warm.

The next morning, I communicated with the hotel and they changed my bed sheets and quilt covers. The hotel is on a street with food and pharmacies. The air conditioner in the room does not have a cooling function, but it is not really needed. There is a rural passenger bus near the hotel that goes directly to the scenic spot. Due to the conditions, the breakfast options are very limited, so don't have too high expectations.
