The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the location is excellent with a convenient shuttle service. The infinity pool and ocean views are stunning and highly recommended. The room was clean and spacious, and the 1.5-meter single bed was perfect for a solo traveler. I highly recommend the room with a private hot tub – it's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy your trip.

The views are absolutely stunning. Perched high on the hillside, the hotel offers unparalleled sea views, with the majestic Erhai Lake and continuous Cangshan Mountains stretching out before you. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening fills you with a sense of peace throughout the day. Butler Allen's service was exceptional – he was diligent, responsible, and incredibly responsive, proactively providing helpful tips and even sharing lesser-known local spots to explore. Thumbs up! The overall experience was flawless. I've already recommended it to friends and family planning a trip to Dali.

I brought my child to Dali to relax after their exams, and we booked a lake-view room on the second floor. Initially, I was worried the view might be poor due to the low floor, but those worries were completely unfounded! The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire lake and mountains like a natural painting. We had a panoramic view of the clear sky, blue water, distant mountains, and green trees. The swing inside the room was a huge hit with my child; they spent half the day on it. We didn't have to rush our itinerary; we just slowly enjoyed the breeze and watched the shimmering lake, experiencing a rare, leisurely pace of life. The room was clean and bright, with refreshing marble floors, and opening the window revealed a healing lake view. My child completely relaxed and shed all the fatigue from exam preparation. The hotel environment is thoughtfully designed, tranquil and restorative – it's definitely our top choice for family trips. We'll be back for our next vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. We also received a beautiful woodblock print as a farewell gift, which was a lovely surprise. Overall: Hidden Mist combines beautiful accommodation with genuinely outstanding hospitality. This hotel experience was absolutely fantastic, five stars! It's very close to Erhai Airport and offers a free pick-up service, making transportation super convenient. The hotel boasts stunning views; you can admire the beautiful Erhai Lake right from your room. The service is incredibly attentive, with staff who are warm and thoughtful. The biggest surprise was the dining: the homemade breakfast was prepared with great care, the afternoon tea was exquisite, and they thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and cake, all of which tasted excellent. Room service was also very prompt, making for a truly comfortable stay. In summary, the environment, service, and dining are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Staying at Songyun Cliff was a fantastic experience. The hotel is nestled against the mountains and overlooks the sea, offering a romantic and expansive setting with incredible cliffside views. The guest rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. The butler service was attentive and quick to resolve any issues. The hotel provides vehicles for guest use, saving the hassle of finding taxis when going out. They also offer customized outdoor BBQ options, perfect for gathering with friends by the cliff, enjoying dinner while watching the Erhai sunset – truly a relaxing and laid-back holiday vibe. It's definitely a top choice for a resort hotel in Haidong.

I was so satisfied that I felt compelled to write a good review! Being able to watch fish from your room is a uniquely wonderful experience; I absolutely loved it and could spend all day just watching. Room A is on the ground floor, which is the lowest level of guest rooms. Large groupers often swim right outside the window, leopard sharks sometimes lie on the bottom, and manta rays frequently pass by. Even sea turtles make an occasional appearance. The room itself is quite spacious and comfortable. During my stay, there was no need to go anywhere else; I just went to the adjacent oceanarium to watch fish and go diving, which was included in the hotel package. Diving in an aquarium is so much more interesting than plain old diving! Although it's on the surface and not very deep, it's still close enough to the fish. The hotel staff provided excellent service. However, breakfast wasn't great; it was exactly the same for both days I stayed. Lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant weren't expensive, and the à la carte dishes were quite good. I'll definitely be back!

Families, come and stay here! It was an amazing experience (not a shill, purely my own voluntary feelings). We loved it so much that on the second day, we decided to extend our stay for a whole week! 🥹 From the welcoming atmosphere, the staff, the accommodation environment, to the food, everything was arranged to meet guests' needs. For two young people who usually skip breakfast, the fact that we consistently had breakfast for a whole week speaks volumes about the freshness and deliciousness of the food! The environment is very artistic, comfortable, and clean, with many spots perfect for handsome guys and beautiful ladies to take photos! The boss, staff, manager, and butler were all incredibly enthusiastic and we're so grateful for their thoughtful hospitality towards us, visitors from out of town 💖 This will definitely be our top choice in Dali again next time!!

The sea-view room on the third floor offers a fantastic view. The restaurant next door is delicious, and within a ten-minute walk, you'll find Haidong Town with pharmacies, fruit stalls, and all sorts of local snacks, so convenience is not an issue.

We were really pleased with our stay at the YueLianZhuang parent-child slide room. The kids absolutely loved the slide in the room, and we enjoyed the private hot spring bath. The room was spacious with a great sea view, and all the children's amenities were provided. The butler was very responsive, and the buggy service to and from the car park was convenient. The afternoon tea and goodnight sweet soup added a nice touch of ceremony. The rooftop view was incredible, with an infinity pool, swings, and a glass platform – perfect for photos, especially at sunset over Erhai Lake. Just a heads up, it gets quite windy on the rooftop, so make sure to keep a close eye on the little ones.
