I was beyond belief impressed with every single aspect of my 3day 2 night Birthday stay in a Deluxe Premium Suite at Oceanside Marina Suites! Upon entering the hotel, it was so stunning with views on one side of the Marina & the other side was the gorgeous pool & the Pacific Ocean just beyond that!
I was greeted at the front desk by an extremely friendly & helpful agent named Monica, which started me off to a fantastic stay. I arrived early absolutely ready to wait but she surprisingly told me my room was ready, which was Awesome! As soon as I walked into my room, I was totally blown that my room had the view of the pool which led to a cove & past the the Pacific Ocean! The size of the suite was also quite large, full size brand new gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker & everything you need to cook & eat with!
The living room was huge & it led out to the large balcony with the breathtaking view! The bathroom was updated & the shower pressure was perfect!
The mattress in my room was so incredible, that at the end of my 1st day, I was going to take a nap at 6pm, & instead woke up at 11:30am the next day!! Part of this trip was to get some serious rest, & this bed was by far the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced! I’ve asked them to find out what “make” it is because I will most definitely buy the same mattress.
I cannot say enough wonderful & amazing things to recommend this phenomenal hotel! I know I will always stay here when I return to Oceanside:)
I would give this 10 stars!!! if I could!!
Let me start with the positive: On the plus side, the room was fine/nice. The bed and pillows were fine/nice. The bathrooms are nice. The balconies have a nice view. Even though the hotel was right by the train (all the hotels in Oceanside are), the room was well-soundproofed, and we weren't bothered by any outside noise. The only charge $32 per day for parking. The rooms have a small fridge and a microwave. But...it's a lot of money for... No valet. No restaurant. No room service. No coffee shop or espresso stand. No spa. No gift shop. The gym has 3 machines in a tiny room. There is one water station for refilling water bottles, but it doesn't seem to have filtered water (seems like you could get tap water). It's located on the 6th floor in the gym, which is not convenient, especially considering the situation with the elevators. They have a tiny area selling a few chips and drinks. But you have to pay at the front desk so if a lot of people are checking in our out this could take a long time and simply isn't worth it. There is a wine shop that is connected to the lobby. But unless you're into wine, it's not that exciting and there isn't anything in there for kids or regular folk. I hardly saw anyone in there. The elevators take forever. There are just two elevators, and only one goes to the basement parking lot. With so many people staying at the hotel, standing and waiting for elevators for a very long time is a hassle. Maybe the speed is fine when there aren't too many people there. It's an outrageous amount of money considering everything they don't have. The free breakfast is just okay. It's not great. And when there are a lot of people they run out of things very fast (even coffee) and it can take a while for them to replenish. Self-park is a reasonable price, but beware, the garage is incredibly tight, and they have wrapped every pillar in astroturf or carpet because it's obvious that more than a few people have hit the pillars). The front desk staff is okay. Some are nice, some are just working, aren't happy about it, and don't feel like helping. There is no information about what the hotel offers, where to get food, when breakfast is served, how to get to the wifi, or things to do in town. Nothing. I don't know if there was an app we were supposed to use. But no one told us anything. There is no QR code anywhere to find out more info. Even when I tried to check in just 20 minutes before 4 pm they offered me nothing. They said that check-in is guaranteed at 4 pm and then just looked at me. I explained that i was there (hi!) and wondered where to park (remember there is no valet) and that I had a lot of luggage to handle on my own. Only then did they offer that I could get a luggage cart and they could store my luggage and that I could park my car and give me a key for the garage and that I could wait on the terrace. But it was like pulling teeth. The terrace could be lovely if it had some umbrellas. But it's wa

There is a covered parking lot available along with an uncovered parking lot. There are less covered spots available than uncovered spots. Also, there are two charging stations available. The staff was friendly, professional, and assisted with all matters very well. There are two elevators available that go all the 6th floor. The amenities were sufficient enough to make for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The room I stayed in was large with a kitchenette, pullout couch, and large bathroom. There were some minor issues like a bent ironing board, hair in the bathroom, and noise disturbance from the room above, but all was manageable. The location is right outside of two gates that access Camp Pendleton. Also, it is within walking distance from some good restaurants and the beach. I hope that this review is helpful with your lodging decision.
I absolutely loved our stay here, we would most definitely book at this hotel again! We had amazing service from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! The housekeepers were great along with the breakfast employees. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!! They had tons of options which was great considering we had 4 kids ranging there ages of 5-13 and they are all very picky eaters and they were even able to enjoy their breakfast!! Also, the breakfast place was clean the entire time along with the floor, the employees would clean the tables and counters non-stop and replace the food that had gotten low so there would be enough for everyone to enjoy. Plus our girls raved about the waffles here, they wanted to take home the batter lol! 10/10

GGuest UserHe is a hotel chain. The front of the hotel is the same, but the location is not the same, so there are Chinese services, the front desk service is also very good breakfast is good, the rooms are very similar, very standard. Ah, if you are going to travel, if you are going out to travel, it is your first choice to take your children out to play.
孙孙The location is on the high speed side, it is easy to find and the navigation is accurate. The young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Booking in advance on weekends does not make it easy to book a room. The room is big. .
Ccindyw841After staying at the ESA San Diego-Hotel Circle, we only look for ESA to stay at on our trips. My husband works all over California, but mainly in the San Diego area so we are on the road almost more than at home. And since we never know how long the job will last until the next one, we usually bring a lot of stuff with us. Since finding ESA, we no longer have to bring our own electric skillet and pots and pans, which saves us a lot of space. I love the kitchen and the full size fridge. And I think it's a requirement that the ladies and gents that work the desk are friendly and helpful because they've all gone out of their way to make sure we have what we need. Our room this trip faces the golf course. Cool, you may say but not so much. First there are bushes blocking the actual view PLUS, did you know they mow golf courses every other day, at 5:30 in the morning? Yes they do. But that aside, everything is as expected. Clean room, nice guests, and a clean bbq area complete with umbrella's. The staff is able to answer all my questions, get me whatever I need, and help anyway possible. The king bed was soft (a little bit too soft for my back however). My only complaint about this ESA is the TV has no guide on it and some of the stations flicker. BUT, the remote has a sleep timer on it which is great for me because I can't go to sleep without some type of noise or sound (other than snoring from my husband). I highly recommend this ESA or any ESA wherever you are going. They will bend over backwards to help you if they can. Oh and another great thing about this ESA is there are a lot of stores just minutes away. My son and I walked to the grocery store, that's how close they are. I'm very thankful for Extended Stay America and I know you will be too if you choose to stay here.
XXIAOXIUHotel is very good, the price is high. The hotel provides breakfast. American basic milk juice bread, egg, yogurt, fruit, free parking, self-driving tour, convenient travel, food and beverage, good choice.
魏魏晨asHotel location is very good, there is a supermarket and eating place on the opposite side of the road, do not have to run very far, in the morning you can go to Starbucks to buy a breakfast and drink a coffee, the focus is that there is a laundry room in the hotel, because the next day only know, so useless, Don't know how much
FFaulknerAshleyI've stayed here alot over the years, the service/ workers are typically nice, and the rooms are good for the price your paying and right now probably the only hotel with the pool open since covid has hit so that is nice. In the past it was really bad with cops constantly circling and harassing you if you were out of your room but this time it was very quiet and peaceful.
JJill MMy husband and I have been staying in this hotel once or twice a year for the last 15 years. In early September 2023, we had a room overlooking the parking lot/harbor slips. We stayed for three nights. The hotel has no air conditioning. The weekend was exceptionally hot so we had a fan in the room which was very dirty and loud. The couch and carpet in the entire unit was filthy and stunk like urine, beer and cigarettes. The living room had no lamp. We relied on the overhead, outdated, ceiling fixture over the dining table for light. The bedroom made you feel you were in prison. All walls and doors were stark white and not one piece of artwork on any wall. The bathroom was dirty and the shower/bathtub had black mold in the calking. The drawers and cabinets had spider webs in them. The hairdryer wall unit had broken off of the wall and was shoved in a drawer not reinstalled. There were no fire sprinklers or carbon monoxide alarm fixtures. There appeared to be one smoke alarm on the hall wall (not on the ceiling ?). Don’t know if it was working. We lived nearby in Carlsbad for years so we come back to this area often. We have seen a steady decline of this property over the last four or five years. We were disappointed to see just how far down it has slipped. We will not be returning. It was a total waste of our hard earned dollars. They charge a high rate for such a low quality room ……. hardly a “suite”.
GGuest UserJust next to the high-speed, the hotel is separated by a barbed wire fence. The location is convenient. It takes half an hour to drive into the city. The room facilities are generally small and somewhat Latin. Breakfast bread, milk, this hotel has a lot of doors, it is wonderful to go around the second floor.
