Find the Cheap Candelaria Hotels

This is our second winter break in the Punta del ray and we will be returning again next November. We had such a good holiday last year when we were there for a week that we booked 2 weeks this year. It did not disappoint. The staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The hotel is cleaned to a very high standard from the rooms to the pool area. The staff work very hard and deserve credit for the work they do. The food is good and varied even after 2 weeks, normally after a week I would normally be bored. The only issue is that it could be hotter. The mixers and soft drinks aren’t very good but I buy my own from the supermarket as I prefer branded drinks and they are cheap to buy from the supermarket. We love the solarium and sit there most days. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We don’t go to the show bar as we prefer to sit outside but there is a show on every night and the guests seem to really enjoy them. Most of the guests return year after year and I can see why. If you are looking for a relaxing winter getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the lively resorts this is a great place to go. You have a lovely walk along the prom where there are some nice shops and restaurants. I can’t wait to return again next year Thank you Punta del ray for another fantastic holiday, look forward to seeing you all again next November 😘

We stayed at the Finca Salamanca for 5 nights at the end of April to beginning of May on a Half Board basis. In my view this place is a real ”find”. Located about a mile from Guimar with plenty of car parking, but in a rural location. The tranquillity hits on you straight away and the staff are all very professional, bur friendly and helpful especially in the Restaurant. In fact the meals provided are a reason to return in themselves - Breakfast is a good buffet style, but the evening meal is full Waiter Service from a full and varied menu - I have eaten at all sorts of establishments all over the world and I cannot think of any where that the food would be better than here - unbelievable - the restaurant is open to the public although not that busy - food prices are quoted on the menu giving an indication of the value of the half board. The Finca is situated in extensive and attractive grounds with large areas of avocados and views of the mountains and the sea. There is a very pleasant heated swimming pool which is spotlessly clean and well maintained as is the whole Finca and grounds. Our room was clean and comfortable containing super king bed, flat screen TV, table and chairs, settee and coffee table, etc. Large Bathroom with complimentary toiletries, Shower, wash basin, WC, etc. Outside a terrace with Sunbeds, table and chairs. There are no coffee making facilities although a kettle will be supplied free of charge from Reception and tea / coffee are available near the Reception Area all day. There is a Room Safe for which a key is provided for a charge of 3 Euros a day - maybe this should be free. It would be wise to have a hire car - although Guimar is only about a mile away the walk is either uphill or downhill in both directions. The roads in Tenerife are very busy and parking everywhere you visit is not easy especially in towns which is a down side. However I strongly advise a visit to The Finca Salamanca - you will not regret it !!

Una pensión o albergue, más bien con baños estrechisimos como letrinas y duchas, a las que no les llegaba la Perez al suelo, en las que el agua del que se ducha al lado te salpica de rodillas para abajo y todo compartido, ruidoso y escaso en todos los sentidos y encima carisimo. Una sola noche, solo alojamiento, en este mes de Noviembre de 2024 me ha costado 85€.

Our airline cancelled our flight from Tenerife South Airport at the last minute, and rerouted us via the North airport the next day and we had to very quickly book our own accommodation for the night. Booked through Bookings.com pretty much based on proximity to the airport as we had a very early flight the next day. After all the stress of the day the reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Our room was massive and well equipped. We eat at the hotel and it was good and also very reasonable. Due to the early flight and the clocks going forward we were a little anxious that we would set our alarms incorrectly or they wouldn’t update overnight. The night receptionist said he would do a walk up call for us and also would have a grab bag for breakfast waiting for us, as well as organising a taxi. The call happened and the breakfast bag was waiting for us with the Taxi. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and made what was a very stressful time very pleasant, thank you.

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the penthouses and loved it! The view of the city, the mountains and the sea from the three balconies was just beautiful. The room is not only stylish and comfortable, but also has a fully equipped kitchen, which we always appreciate when travelling. There is a fairly large smart TV in the lounge but with this view we didn't even switch it on :) The location is good, it's a 15min walk to the centre of Santa Cruz and there is a tram stop 5min away which takes you to the main bus station and La Laguna, we will definitely be back on our next trip!

Beautiful, characterful hotel with excellent service and facilities plus value for money. Hope to return.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and very impressed. Very clean and comfortable. In a great location for us, and also a very short walk from the number 10 bus stop which goes to the south airport. Air conditioning was very good and room safe was large enough to hold my laptop. Breakfast was very tasty. Only complaint was our room had a smell that previous guest had been smoking in the room, even though it’s non smoking. I did wonder if the smell was something else but then I noticed the previous room occupants had placed a shower cap over the detector, so my guess was likely correct. It wasn’t overpowering and we didn’t ask to move room. I did ask for an air freshener at reception but this never appeared. It got better after a day or so. Super stay. Will hopefully be coming back in a few months time.
