Chengdu Hotels with Bars

So happy with my one week stay in Dorsett Grand Chengdu!! Had a great service from 小余 Eva during check-in & she was so nice to upgrade me to a Suite!! Love the clean & spacious space… Furnitures & interior were well maintained. Housekeeping sisters are really nice people too, they always gave me things that I need quickly whenever I ask. I must also highlight about the security level at night in the hotel made me feel safe at all times, which are many male staffs looking after at ground floor… Every staffs had made this hotel a great place to stay, well done!! :D

May be because we booked two rooms for 4 nights, we were given room upgrade on checking in. What a pleasant surprise! Our rooms on the 25 th floor ware spacious. One of our rooms had smell of tobacco smoke. When we complained with the front desk, it was quickly resolved with switching to another room which was fresh. Our booking included breakfast. We enjoy the buffet breakfast very much. The breakfast room was modern, bright, comfortably decorated with large picture windows. The staff are courteous and welcoming. The food variety was good, even with traditional local Chinese delicacies! The teas, juices and soy drinks are nice. On the whole, the staff of this hotel were friendly, patient, and helpful. Jack at the concierge should be specially mentioned. He helped us book Sichuan cultural show, and museum tickets patiently. When the internet booking was not smooth , he even called the ticket office direct to find out how he could help us. As for the hotel location, the hotel is just 5 min walk from the Tianfu piazza, and the Chengdu museum is right across the beautiful square. However, if you want to go to Taikoo lane to find nice restaurants, the walk is over 20 min! and better use a cab if you were hungry, as we were on our first night. We had to cross three zebra crossings, and then a long walk, finally gave up walking and settled in a locaL Sichuan restaurant ” TaoDe Pots ” before we could reach Taikoo place. But TaoDe Pot was a nice surprise too, if you can tolerate waiting outside for 20 min, though they provided seating and lemon drinks. We were surprised with the delicious food, good portion, warm service and friendly price!

This has been my second time at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and like the second time, it has been a wonderful stay. The staff is great, and I want to thank especially Crystal, who did extra effort to make this stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet has much to choose from and only high quality products are offered. The spa is great, with a gym, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool. And the rooms are very spacious and have a beautiful view. If I were to come to Chengdu again, I would want to stay at the Ritz Carlton again!

A gem of an hotel superbly located near Tianfu Square, People's Park and not far from Wenshu Yuan Monetary. Special mention to Pavel the Head Buttler who went out of his way to help me locate a cigar lounge. Great amenities, rooms. Superb experience

It's rated #5 of top hotels in chengdu by Trip.com but I think is not really worth this title, because the following: 1) old amenities, hotel facilities like gym, pool are old, a 5 stars hotel but without a sauna & steam room is very disappointing 2) I expect a bigger room but in fact quite small for 5 stars standard 3) the room furniture and free stuffs in the room look cheap The rest are quite ok for a 5 stars standard.

I love the hotel ambience. There were a variety of options for breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to the metro station. The service was excellent! The entire check-in process took less than 5 minutes. My luggage was sent up to my room before I even got in. I was given a room nearest to the lift lobby (as I requested upon booking) and I've gotten a room high up on the 32nd floor with a nice pretty view. I can see the famous climbing panda at the IFS building. The bed was super comfy and soft. But the pillows were a bit way too soft in my opinion. I love the room having a separate toilet & bathroom. There were rainshowers and a bathtub in the dry area too. Super spacious for one person! Oh, but sadly the television is not a smart TV. There is only the usual satellite TV programmes

This is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info. The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel. Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything! She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated. The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey! The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.

Niccolo Hotel is great!. The room is very spacious with a nice sofa by the window look out to the nice street opposite. The bed and pillow is very comfortable. The location of this hotel is 10/10. Very centralise and convenient. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Service is excellent! We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends

Super location, right in the middle of WenShuYuan area. Full of restaurants, shops, bars and local street food stands. Very nice neighbourhood to experience Chengdu lifestyle. Hotel itself provides an unique experience, peaceful and cozy enviroment with original ancient Chinese yard artitechture. Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. 身处文殊坊商圈 就点周围茶馆 美食 商店 路边小铺 咖啡 酒吧 剧院 应有尽有 全部古风建筑 浓浓的巴蜀风韵 离酒店200m 画圈 出商圈 便可体验当地人巴适生活 餐馆 便利店 地铁 等 特别的方便 酒店本身随处商圈 但闹中取静 比邻文殊院 原汁原味的巴蜀古建筑风 诸多别院 自然纯朴 又精美别致 酒店工作人员非常热情友好 总是主动提供帮助 我们对很感谢扎西登巴小哥哥 从我们入住 到退房 多次主动提供帮助 人帅心善呀

Room facilities super good..my kids rather stay at room also don wan yo go out..watch movie in room with jbl sound system..room was clean and the bed very comfortable..recommended..will come back again☺️the only small bad comment was no sign to hotel..the front door of hotel is at the back of the building..will miss out..
